Introduction: The newest entry in the Fire Emblem series was announced for the 3DS at the Nintendo Direct on January 14th, 2015 and appears to use the same engine as Fire Emblem: Awakening. It features an all new story that splits mid-way after you decide to take sides with one of two warring nations, Hoshido and Nohr.
Titled Fire Emblem if in Japan, there is a notable emphasis on the consequences of choices in this game. The game does not yet have an English title, likely because the "if" in the title does not translate easily to English.
