In this chapter we come face to face with a new kind of enemy; The ballista. A long range bow that can attack up to 10 paces away. It is manned by an archer so it can be killed quite easily but that doesn't stop it being any less of a pain.

Matthew isn't allowed in this chapter, he is apparently off "Gathering information". The Tosser.

I suggest bringing your Cavaliers and magic users. I like to take the gamble and bring Florina. Being a flying unit means she is prone to bows, who do triple damage to her. I like to bring and send her charging straight for the archer on the Ballista. If she dodges the Ballista bolt, she kills the archer on the next turn and there's no more pesky ballista to deal with. If she doesn't dodge, she dies and you get a black mark on your record. I think it's worth the risk

Apart from the ballista, the chapter isn't too tough. There's a mage and shaman directly east of your position. Leave Lucius or Erk in range and they will be taken care of. Visit the village to recieve a Lancereaver. The theme of this map is the reversal weapons. Weapons that reverse the weapon triangle, this is a nice addition to your arsenal, and can let your sword users deal with those pesky soldiers even quicker.

Once the initial charge of units has been cleared up by your unstoppable team. It's time to destroy the annoying Archer (if he hasn't been murdered already hint hint) and deal with the soldier reinforcements that spawn from the two forts in the south-western corner.

Once that is done, draw out the enemies that are surrounding the boss, and head in to kill him.
