OK, Historic battle 1.
Backstory: The kingdoms of Agustria and Daruska have been at war for 3 years. It started as a Daruskian land-grab of a Agustrian costal town. News reached the king of Agustia,Leo the Dragonheart, quickly.
The invading force's commanding officer was the king of Daruska himself, Perusi. Dragonheart took this chance to give his soldiers some
well needed expirence.
The two armies met a month later at the chokepoint of the Red-mountain pass, where the Daruskians held the upper hand in the highgrounds. The Battle starts here.
----------------
Dragonheart sheilded his eyes as he marched at the back of his army. He couldn't see the Daruskians yet, but he knew as well as they did that this this pass was vital for his country, or else they where land-locked. He hoped to win this battle quickly, for he wanted to lose no more resources as it is."Colonel, do you know of any tunnels that lead to the other side of this pass?"
"Yessir, there are two mining shafts that have multiple exits and entrances at each side of the pass. This place used to be rich with rubies and gold."
"Don't bore me with your idle talk, Colonel, just send the Armored battalion through the tunnels."
"Sorry, Sir." The Colonel said, now holding something to his ear. "Armor battalion, revert course to 2 meters west, through tunnel to other side, pincer movement, I repeat, pincer movement."
The sentry raised his hand, putting his scoped crossbow down. "They're here! Snipers, Crossbow-men, ready!" The army below them had no idea what was about to happen to them.
The soldiers up in the front line were itching to fight. "Man, I want to kick some Daruskian ass!" "I know right? They have it comming, man."
"Have to agree with you the-" The third soldier's head flew clean off, soaking his comrades in blood."Holy shit! They have arche-" He took a arrow in the chest, piercing his armor.
"Cavalry, charge!" A paladin yelled, holding up his shelid. The sounds were deafening. The buzz of arrows, hoofbeats, and screams of pain rent the air.
The Armored unit was making fair progress in the tunnels, about a fourth of the way there already, with high morale. Two of the slower ones were having a conversation.
"Hey, how long till the war ends, do you think?"
"Oh, maybe a year or two, but we know who's going to wi-Did you hear that?"
"What?"
The first turned around after a minute or two, having no reply still. "Hey-" He slumped to the ground, his neck cracked.
The assasins have been following the armored unit for a while now, and have already killed two of them without the others noticing. The question was, how to take out the others, who were in a tight formation. "On the count of three, take the four back armored. 1...2..."
"What was that?!" A knight said, turning around just in time to see one of the assasins running towards him. "Ambush!"
He raised his lance, and thrust it outwards. The assasin couldn't stop in time, and impaled himself on the knight's weapon.
Meanwhile, on the pass it's self, the cavaliers have been cut off from the rest of their army by mages and mercenaries. The charged forward more, trying to avoid said mages, and take out the archers ahead, who were being protected by knights. Luckily, Armor Slayers are standard issue. Trampling over dead knights, they came face to face with a group of Warriors. Not good at all. The paladins were trapped, ready to be slaughtered.
The Agustian archers ran to positions, taking there place on a hillside with a good view of the entire battle. They sighted with their crossbows and let out a hail of arrows into the masses of the enemies army. "That should help them thin out the ranks! Aim for enemy fliers now!'
Dragonheart flew higher into the air, out of arrow range, along with his personal unit of Wyvern Knights. "We ride to kill! Let us go!"

That's part one of two of the Battle of Red Pass. A bit long, no?
