The Xbox one reveal was a huge letdown. Microsoft completely dropped the ball on the whole "gaming console" aspect of it and it's become more of a general entertainment center. If I wanted to watch movies, T.V, and do other 'gimmicky' things, I'd do them on a better platform. Those feature may be what some people are looking for, but I think for most gamers, it was depressing reveal.

I mean, first of all, you can't lend, re-sell, or buy used versions of the games because each license is tied to each disk. That means, if you wanted to lend the game CD to your friend, they'd have to buy the game full price to play it. Wtf. Did they not even THINK about the used-game/trading aspect of things??? I can understand them trying to prevent pirating, but people are still going to find a way, so why the super strict license deal now? I frequently lend games to friends and it's a great way to save some money and share an experience with someone. I really hope they revise that! It's bad enough it's not backwards compatible.

I know it was just revealed, but they don't seem to have impressive flagship titles lined up, although I guess all the CoD fanboys will go ahead and pick up CoD:Ghosts.

It's got nice specs (although they're worse than the ps4's), it looks decent, but it doesn't sound like a gaming console anymore :/

I hope I'm proven wrong though and lots of fantastic games come out and the whole system is a success because with a few tweaks here and there, I'd probably be willing to give it a shot.

Man I totally forgot I had made this thread because after I typed it up, I immediately began working on my costume. I ended up going with something pretty simple. I'm Riri and my friend Jay agreed to play Soushi :3 It ended up being a lot of fun (it was this past friday-sunday at my convention center) and I hope I can pull out a better costume next year ahaha

I actually got a haircut because my intent was to avoid buying a wig for this character:



But my hair just wasn't long enough so I ended up borrowing my friends wig anyhow XD At least I still like the haircut :x And at least it was better than my original idea which was to just go like this, but it seemed to generic and plain...

And the contacts weren't my normal ones, so they really bothered my eyes, but it was well worth it
