Map feedback/question

Hello everyone, not so new member/first time comment here, I just started hacking the game but so far I've only been modifiyng stats. I just finished a map on FE8 and I would like feed back on a few things. The dragon wall at the top and the pillar wall at the bottom, ar they too much?. The thin pillars at the center and the two pillars on the left and on the right, specifically the way in which they end, should I make it so it "fades" like on the original maps or should I make it go down all the way.

Also, I was wondering how hard is it to transfer a map from FE8 into  FE6 and FE7? This map is a key place in the overall story I have in mind. Thanks in advance
