If you can send me a bunch of files from the "m" directory, I can do a quick analysis of how FEDS handles text. I already did some analysis on it before and text looks fairly straightforward to edit, but I didn't keep any notes.

Actually, I have FEDS's files on me right now, so just ignore that part. I've got the EU version on me, so if you're using the NA version, there might be slight differences.

Beat the game recently, it was very enjoyable, if a bit on the easy side. The final boss had a huge difficulty spike that surprised me though.

I'm a tad skeptical of the rumours, since Nintendo Dream hasn't been kind to FE fans in the past (besides correctly "hinting" of the BK's return in FE10). Briefly googling around some Japanese sites, the rumour does look pretty solid though (stemming from the infamous new year's greeting cards that developers show off).

Personally I think it's too late to see a new FE on the Wii. The number of games coming out for the Wii seems to be dying down for some reason I can't quite think of, except the imminent announcement of Nintendo's new home console.

Same with a new FE for the DS. The 3DS is where any new portable FE is going to be on in the coming future, and I would be very surprised if one or two don't make their one on it, since handheld FEs sell quite well (much to IS's disdain I can imagine - they tried really hard for FE9/10 only to see the DS remakes sell just as well or better).
