oh, the art is great

 

I am quite pleased with Nephenee's and TBK's art

well, I'm generally just not to uh, compliment art in that way in the first place

 

but if I had to, I'd say she's closer to hot than cute?

 

somehow 'cute' has more of a childish or demeaning connotation to me, even though it doesn't have to

 

rather than cute, i'd say it's super well-drawn and brings out Nephenee's charm

 

which is probably not helping poor Seraph, who can't seem to get his hands on Nephenee AFAIK... (he got like 4 Oscar's though >>; poor dude)

I think we're hitting a discussion on the connotative meaning of different words for "nice" art:

 - Cute can certainly have diminutive connotations.  

 - Beautiful often has connotations of "class" and elegance. 

 - Hot would imply something along the lines of a sexual attraction. 

 

That said, I typically default to cute in this scenario as I think you'd associate many of Nephenee's endearing traits with a more cute emotion.  Though the real sentiment is that her art is lovely and it meshes amazingly well with the background of the Summoner Support.

 

I feel bad for Seraph.  If memory serves, he was the one with the Nephenee avatar on the site?  I mean, this is probably the best shot he'll get at Nephenee (as her stats and capabilities aren't good enough to warrant a Hero Fest focus on her) and it's a 50/50 shot at the Focus % (at the best of times...that is, if you're purely pulling on blue orbs). 

 

I've heard the stochastic method for finding the 90th percentile for landing a Nephenee was spitting out about 226 Orbs.  I would have to assume it's much worse as it didn't seem like the calculation considered the fact that Oscar/Nephenee were both splitting the blue focus (90% chance of landing an Elincia just opening red summons was about 180-190)...so I could easily see that heading up to the 400-450 Orb requirement region to land a Nephenee 90% of the time.  Could be wrong though as I don't really delve into the mechanics of the game's summoning engine all that much.

 

What I'm trying to say is that it's damn hard to pull a Nephenee and it doesn't seem like the odds are getting better anytime soon. That is, unless they decide to kick her down to 4 stars.

 

Silver lining is that if you whale for that, it at least doing so prevents any other addictions from draining your wallet.

yeah seems like it, and you probably have a point with the Hero Fest thing. the real problem is just that she shares blue orbs with Oscar, cutting that % in half is a real bummer

this seems like a weird kinda silver lining... either way the wallet is drained, no? ><; lol
