I grew to like it more after seeing the expressions but I still wish they had a less dull outfit, or at least gain a new one on promotion like Micaiah. And less stiff posture. I'll choose a darker blue next time though.

Saying that in case anyone else wants to do what I did. Here we are:
Yes, he's pretty bland, but I don't really care for character creation, so I just tried to go for something that wasn't super awful in my opinion and was different from my previous ones. It's whatever. I even named him "Corrin" since I don't think of him as me and I don't want to as I hate his character, so eh. :\

Because Miiverse tends to have the tendency to CRASH occasionally, and therefore force me to lose my data... I went ahead and used the avatar creator, lol.
Hoshido: My Self-Insert
Actual class is Great Lord, aka Lucina's class. Yay for free DLC!
Nohr: NOT a self-insert, because I can't see me ever realistically siding with Nohr:

wait, that DLC is out already?
also, I feel like the designs fit, haha. well, they fit the general sides anyway, wouldn't really say they fit how Corrin actually acts in each route... but meh >>' YMMV lol, only the default designs really fit that IMO

but jokes aside apparently you have to keep all the NPCs alive, noted if I ever decide to play the DLC. (as of now I've got little to no motivation to...)

I'm too lazy to wait for my definitive My Castle run to show them so here is me on Lunatic and my FILTHY NOHRIAN SCUM evil twin with lazily recolored outfits to reflect their class colors.
(I really wish they changed into new outfits when they promote, or after they return to their respective route's family, or something. Micaiah and Ike did it.)
Also, I take back what I said about the stiff posture being bad. It's great for when you want to look offended.
Speaking of being offended, it really won't stop bothering me how much better the outfit would have been if it didn't look so Nohr with the brightest part being so dull. Giving it higher contrast really brings out the duality thing they seem to have been going for.
