[Fire Blazer]

The game is coming out in Japan soon so we're getting more and more info, screenshots, and trailers. Here are the latest two!

 

 

 

Haven't yet watched them but I did see that Kiria got an outfit change, which I dig (if only because I think it looked dumb and I didn't really want to look at her like that before). I'm hoping the game will be really good, I'm a bit excited for it since I like JRPGs, games with good music, and colorful games, and it seems to have some solid gameplay and a decent story (though we'll see for sure when I play it, heh). And of course, Fire Emblem! Might just be some inspirations and references and the like, but that's enough to at least hook a long-time FE fan a little bit. XP

The overview trailer actually shows off the gameplay for once which still looks pretty solid. The texting thing is something I'm surprised they've never used before in a game, it could work pretty well in persona. 

 

Navarre's mirage is pretty cool looking and I'll be really surprised if his human doesn't have the inevitable change of heart towards the party later in the game lol.

I mean, they've had messaging things in phones, just not in the GamePad or quite on this level of interaction. I'm not sure how it'll pan out but I think I heard it's live? so maybe it won't be too bad. Not sure if it'd work as well in a game like Persona without the GamePad, but maybe they could do it somehow.

 

ahahaha, yeah that seems like the normal path to go given he's that character archetype or whatever. I think they said at some point that we'd get this feeling hat stuff is happening because it's "Fire Emblem" or whatever so perhaps on that note we'll be able to kind of predict how things will go along a bit if we're familiar with Fire Emblem. (can we maybe expect to see late-game dragons? loool)
