it doesn't seem like you're looking for replies right now, but i feel the need to say a few things anyway. i can't get the quote thing working the way I want it to so everything is just sort of going to be typed out unfortunately.

​this isn't something you should try to answer at all. at least not in a global sense. it's not that Hatoko's answer was missing something, but rather that each person defines happiness in a different way. more than that trying to define what truly makes a person happy is one of the more difficult things you can do. it's like trying to describe an emotion without using synonyms. you just can't do it.

 

i was actually planning to say more, but most of what i had is gone now. i'll read your post again later to see if i can get some of the thoughts back, but right now i'm busy trying to work my way through the mass of jumbled thoughts and serious crap i hate dealing with that always seem to pop back up whenever i read your more serious posts. unfortunately the way you write is fairly close to how thoughts happen in my head which sets of a bit of an explosion. honestly i'd love to meet you irl so i could pick your brain one day, but i doubt i would enjoy the encounter much. not to mention how unlikely it is to happen anyway.
