The father of FE himself is kicking this thing out, thoughts?
I'll play it, that's for sure. As you may or may not know, I'm big on the OG Fire Emblem games, and it's looking quite a bit like the older releases.
That being said, the unit graphics are kind of weird to me. Not a huge fan. I dig those portraits though.
Also, if you can draw, go get yourself involved in this project. I bet that shit would be awesome.

I'm glad to see it's making progress. While I enjoyed some developments post-Kaga in FE, given how disappointing I'm finding the current trends, I'm really excited to see what he'll do after all this time.

I enjoyed Tear Ring Saga and Berwick Saga looks sick (still can't play it T_T) and this game looks like it will be fun. The visuals are odd, but since this is free I'm not gonna complain. I also really like the female character on the title screen.

I saw it, doesn't look great and idk, not too interested, but if it's good, that's fine, I mean it'll be free right? And that's cool for the people who are interested. But you'd have a hard time getting me hyped about it, haha.

I am more interested in thie SRPG Studio program than I am in this project. It looks like the grandson of SRPG Maker 95, which while limited was entertaining to use.
Quick look into it shows that at that time of the post he is looking for artists, thus the weird visuals. They are all SRPG Studio stock resources.

Haha yeah, is it in Japanese or what? Can't remember but it'd be cool if it got popular and became a really good program to mess around in making mini-SRPGs or something

I believe the program is all in Japanese (including the stats and such in gameplay), but some people over on SF were working on that when the news that Kaga was making this game first came out.

I think I heard somewhere that the devs were considering a western release which would be pretty awesome.

Yeah. I found some info on a western release being considered, but nothing concrete. It looks super easy to use and more user friendly than SRPG95. From the sounds of it the battle animation tool is in depth too. So here is hoping.
