There's cafes for like everything in Japan. I'm guessing this is mainly because of its cheap cost (I mean some other place where you hang around often, like an arcade, is much more expensive, and casinos aren't legal in Japan. Pachinko parlors are only technically legal and are thus not particularly reputable.) though I would probably find them a lot more interesting if they sold shop-specific merchandise or something.
I believe in judgment of humans through their judgment of fiction, for nothing else tells better of their disposition freed from apprehension.
