Damn straight you do! Rhythm Tengoku/Heaven and Fever are some of my favorite games ever!! They are hella fun and I am hoping to God that this game comes stateside. I want it really badly.

Looks fun. Haven't played any of them, but I might have to now.
I highly recommend them. They're difficult to play on emulator, but if you can grab a physical copy of DS or Fever on the Wii, they're well worth your time. You can get a copy of DS brand new for like 10 bucks on Amazon. (or at least it was for me months ago) and Fever you could find used for 10 bucks at a GameStop or something. New for about 20 bucks on Amazon.
Edit: Actually, wow. It's $7.47 on Amazon right now for the DS one and $18 bucks for Fever.

The DS one is excellent and VERY challenging. It's a unique game what with the layout and the stylus stuff but I found that once I got into it, I kinda really got into it, haha. The Wii one is a bit more casual but still very good and very rewarding IMO. In general it's full of color, charm, and challenge, and it really does feel like it improves rhythm, haha.
The catchiness/charm is really why I started to get hyped for this now, haha

Oh man, I just saw a supposed leak for Nintendo's E3 topics on Tumblr earlier, and this is what caught my eye. I'm really happy that they seem to be bringing back Power Calligraphy, Sneaky Spirits, a revamped Samurai Slice, Ringside, Shoot-Em-Up, Airboarder, and Karate Man (though it'd be a surprise if Karate Joe wasn't in this game, given his appearance in the previous three games). Funny enough, I've been binging on Fever lately, having just hit... 42 medals, I think? Fun stuff.

I can't recognize all the names, but there are definitely quite a few fun/memorable ones coming back. And I got prefects on all of RHF soon after launch or something EXCEPT the final remix. I just could not for my life get a perfect on the final remix. I couldn't. Too tough. Thinking about it makes me feel like crap.

you might know this already, but leaks are like, 99% of the time fake, and IMO it's best not to put any stake in it. well, it's true there's an RH game, but it's easy for someone to know that from Japan and say it'll get localized or something; that doesn't take a genius to make up and be right (as opposed to guessing that there'll be a new IP). if there's going to be an E3 leak, it'd be much closer to launch, when information is spreading to more places besides Nintendo's internal network... or it'd be really specific. also, any leaks that actually seem the slightest bit real will probably be reported by a reputable gaming site, if that helps (no, IGN, Kotaku, and Polygon don't count, for starters lol)

That's fair, but I'd recommend the series regardless. They're relatively easy to pick up IMO, and like Lucia mentioned, they're each floating around 10-15$ on Amazon. They've got that choice silly vibe as well- here's just a few personal favorites to demonstrate. Maybe it's just me, but the visuals are a decent part of what got me into the game.

Nice nice, I definitely have a long way to go before getting a perfect on everything. Good ol' Tap Troupe...
As for the leak, yeah, I don't really put faith into those. To be honest, I've never had much interest in E3 in the first place. Seeing a RH title was a rather pleasant surprise, and the fact that there's actually an upcoming RH game was an even nicer one, but that was all I cared about. If the past is any indication, I'll probably just read a summary of what was announced after it's said and done.
