So I'm trying again to get good with Photoshop. And to just do something productive with my life.

So I made this Vegeta sig.



It came out meh. A lot better than I expected it to when I started it. I know about the empty space problem in this, I was gonna have the text be there, but it looked better next to the body so I just settled with that.

So any feedback to give would be appreciated, and if you want to see me do something just say it (hopefully this will be able to keep me motivated).

Hmm...the whole set is really good. But the text is a little bit too small in comparison to Vegeta, don't you think? Overall, awesome.

Empty space by and of itself isn't bad. It works very well if you use an intricate background like you did.

I'm not sure what effect you're going for but I find the vertical lines on Vegeta to be distracting and overall a detraction from the image...similar thoughts go to the text. At least, where they're placed. I think where I'm going with this is that I'm more pulled by the interaction of Vegeta and the background so having the blur marks and text where they are distracts me.

Again, I'm not sure 100% what effect you're aiming to provide. So some clarification on the direction might help.

Ehhhhh... I don't know. The text being bigger made is a little overbearing compared to Vegeta, I think. Ugh, text is such a bitch to work with.

I didn't really have any specific direction in particular. I was trying to use the tricks and effects I learned from this video and apply it to Vegeta.

Ah.

It's a difference in how we approach it. I saw that and noted the synergy between Vegeta's right hand and the flow of the fire in the background. Figured it was built around that.
