We all had our favorite characters in each game. And in Awakening, we have the chance to recruit that person, if they're on the list of DLC/spotpass units.

Who's your favortie? Who do you go out of your way to recruit and train?



For me, it has to be Lyn from Smash Bretheren 3. Since FE7 was my first FE game ever, and Lyn was my favorite character from day 1, I always get her from Smash Bretheren 3 when I can, and start reclassing and training her immediately.

I think I used Lyn, but it might've been the Spotpass version

I used Roy because Roy's my boy

That's about it, I'm pretty biased and somewhat lazy haha, I *have* used others but those are the two I like the most, I think

I do like other characters, but some of them just don't feel the same and I'm just like "eh"... like Hector for instance

I like Jaffar too, I think he comes with Galeforce though it's been a while so I could be imagining this

I used a bunch of them, but the DLC Est card is probably my favorite for its earlygame utility.

I haven't played the game, but I'm gonna say Roy because I like his artwork. Also because Blazer is making me post.

Est is pretty damn good. Who wouldn't want a unit starting with Galeforce and Aptitude? I've since given Armsthrift to my Est and now she's one of my best units.

DLC Palla is pretty awesome since she has rally strength, which is niche considering main-game females can only get that through inheritance from male parents. She can also go Bride and get rally heart, and go Grandmaster and get rally spectrum. Considering she then has access to every other rally in the game due to avatar class set, she can combine the best of the male and female-exclusive rallies and become an epic rally-bot.

As for spotpass, Ike is cool because overpowered-ness and moar Aether. King Marth also has epic stats.

Wow Snow, was that really necessary?

I'm a sucker for Galeforce just because it makes being lazy and being chapters in 1-2 turns super easy

I vaguely recall like, Camus or someone else obscure having Galeforce

Jaffar and Seliph both have it for some reason too. I forgot about those! Not sure about Camus, though been too long

Also, I much prefer spotpass!Ephraim to DLC!Ephraim. Rightful King > Conquest, IMO.

You forgot that Palla also has counter, which is a normally male-only class skill.

I like Galeforce too. I got about 8-9 units with it now? I make sure everyone who can learn it gets it before I recruit their children, so I end up with Galeforce Brady, Owain, and Morgan (tho Morgan can get it on her own)
