So I've finally got more than 100 hours into monster hunter 3 ultimate, so I decided to find more games that are worth putting that much time into(not online games, league and smite have my online gaming time).

dang, I have it for Wii U but I can't really get into it, I've hardly put anything into it haha

I've played plenty of long-games but they were mostly just games with long 1-player modes/stories

as far as playing games too much... Starcraft for sure, I think i was addicted to it at one point even if I don't like to admit it

Despite how much I played Smash I can't say I played it too much, I could still play it now, I think it's just one of those games XD

aside from that I tend to have pretty good control over my gaming habits, I don't usually get too attached to one game and end up wasting tons upon tons of hours, SC2 is sort of the exception but I've since learned to control myself pretty well with the occasional relapse, maybe

When I say too much I don't mean all at one time. I've had monster hunter since it was reLeased so while I have put a good bit of time into it it's not like I'm playing it all the time you know? Recently the only game I've been playing a lot is advance wars days of ruin(since because just bought it)

life.

I don't think i've played anything too much until i've either completed it enough(and this doesn't apply as much if I bother to do another playthrough), or until i've got sick of it.

I think I have at least over 200 hours on MH3U, i'll check right after I lose this G-Rank double monster underwater quest.

Alright checked, it's at 247 hours and 36 minutes. The most of that time probably being because of all the shitty rare item hunting you have to do in this game at G-Rank.

For single player games it has to be either Skyrim or pokemon in which I have ~150 hours and ~120 (in 1 playthrough).

But for multiplayer games my most played game is definitely Team Fortress 2 in which I have 1450 hours; although I think it's understandable having a lot of hours in a game like that because it requires skill to be good at.

yeah it's usually games like those that rack the most hours

open-world games, multiplayer games, ones where interaction with other players is a huge thing especially (cough MMORPGs)

oh gosh I just had flashbacks to Runescape

that was awkward... really, really awkward

I think I probably have over 300 hours in Skyrim as a result of multiple playthroughs.

I really do wonder how much playtime i've put into MMOs though...

I find that I actually play the ones that require you build up skill less, if only because of how it's much more prone to becoming a frustrating chore than a game. Depends on how necessary increasing your skills is though. And it's a lot easier when they don't start you off with a steep learning curve(probably how I managed to get good enough at MH3U instead of quitting halfway.)

I have 350+ hours in Awakening.
If you think that's sad, you should also know I haven't played it much in the last 6-ish months. Let that sink in.

Currently, Dark Souls 2 is definitely getting/got in the way of my finals and final projects...

^Dang, hardcore FE fan alert. Though that's to be expected, XD

I think I got a bit over 100 hours which is still pretty freaking long for me (as I believe I mentioned I don't usually get so into a game)

but I wouldn't say I played it too much, lol

and Bobryk, focus! DkS2 can wait! Crush those finals! You can do it!

Well if we're gonna talk fire emblem i've got roughly 800 hours into sacred stones(that's over 8 years or so though so i guess it isn't that impressive), and around 400 in fe4(but again, i started playing that a few years ago so not that impressive i suppose). and most recently i put 10 hours into advance wars days of ruin over 2 days...i get pretty hooked on strategy games an have a hard time putting them down.

I think i've replayed FE6 at least 5 times, not sure how much total time that ends up in though.

FE8 at least thrice, FE7 twice at the very least for HHM, FE10 twice for NG+ bonuses, pretty sure I only bothered with one run of Awakening and one unfinished one(different gender My Units.)

@zac uuuhhh maybe it's because I tend to NOT get too into games (I don't play most games more than once unless they're really good) but I find that to be QUITE a bit

on a side note, I've been The World Ends With You 3 times, which is a VERY high amount for me, and for the iPhone version, Solo Remix, I play like, every other day on average, so I'm sure I've tallied up quite a bit of time between all 3... *checks*

...nope, couldn't find how long, but I'm guessing it's well over 100 hours... XP
