Greetings

With the Custom battle animation editor, how do have more than four items on the list. For example, I am trying to make a female hero animation thing, the actual sprites have already been loaded in, I just need to tell the game where they are. The unit needs: all swords, all axes, hand axes, tomahawks, and disarmed. That's five items, with only four spaces. At the moment I've just excluded the tomahawks, but I am redoing the paladin to allow axe use, and I think that is going to use even more spaces.

I am modding Fire Emblem 8: Sacred stones by the way.

Edit: Also, how do I make a custom battle animation for a Manakete. I'm guessing you would put in monster weapon and link to the dragon breath animation, but how do you incorporate the transformation on either side of the attack (to and from dragon form)?

Custom battle animation editor is the module to set up the animation data, right? IIRC if you need more than 4 you can just use up part of the next slot, since they go one after another. So like you'd use 4 from the 1st slot and 1 from the next one and be sure to include a "separator" after all 4.

EDIT: for manaketes, unfortunately you can't really do that because there's no known way to insert transformations or anything. You can't even properly import the full manakete animation from FE8 or anything. It stinks but we just don't really know how and it'd be super hard. Sorry sad.gif

Thank you, using part of the next section worked.

I was trying to get Fa's chicken dragon into Fire Emblem 8. I was able find and transfer Fa's untransformed dodge, transformed attack, transformation, and regression animations from FE6 into FE8. However, I do not know how to work it with the Nightmare animation editor. I've resorted to using Myrrh's sprite with a different pallet. Seems to work.
