As some of you know, I have over several bouts of boredom been altering Sacred Stones. It is now at a point where it is more than just a random reclass in appearance, so I thought I'd share it with you over Christmas break. But rather than explain it to you, I figure I'll just throw you right in! So, without further ado...

For the first few chapters I actually tweaked enemies some.



Meet new Eirika. She's pretty awesome, in large part due to the fact that she still gets her Great Lord promotion. Oh, and the triangle attack. And her prf swords. She gets those, too. Growths:

New Seth. He's actually a pretty good unit, despite being an early game archer. I've nerfed player units across the board, so solid chip is actually helpful. Also I think he's still better statwise than Neimi ever was.

Given the changes I've made, a STR/SKL level is actually not bad.

Franz is the only unit to not change classes. He did get an all around nerf, though.

Gilliam gives us an actual cav duo for the start. They're definitely weaker than most cav duos, but they're not bad. They're just not the best units around.

Oh, that's right, you guys haven't gotten to see my weapon changes yet.



Weapons (and most staves) have infinite uses, and purchases don't happen very often. You're mostly stuck with what you're given.



Tweaked the boss to make this harder than rushing with Eirika and seizing. You actually need to get Seth up there.



Cav duo conveniently doing just enough damage together to take out an enemy.



loldiers will be loldiers.



Reinforcements! Although I didn't ever need to deal with them.



Funny how it took all three of them to kill this guy. I don't know why I gave Eirika the kill, either.



This level up will always be bad, regardless of what growth rates are.



Pushover. No third level up for Seth, though.



I sent those two to get some EXP from the reinforcements. Then that happened...

Huh, those are some unusual changes. I shall await more with interest. This topic possibly could've went into hacking, though.

Yeah, but I figured it would be more visible here. Also, I realize that this place is inactive enough that photobucket will be fine, so the screenshot problems should be fixed soon.

First up, new units!

Based on my last run, Moulder and Garcia are both solid, but somewhat lacking as units. They're in the same boat as the cav duo: not bad, just not the best. I didn't bother training Ross last time, but he is hypothetically a very, very good unit. Vanessa is in a similar position. Her SPD actually isn't that bad thanks to 7 base SPD, but she still suffers WTD for a bit. Her HP/STR/DEF growths are downright amazing, though.



Whee mostly useless items.

The last time I did this, due to a certain staff EXP problem I was having, Neimi was absolutely amazing. At a decent level, although she may be fragile, she will hit hard and double everything. The question will be whether or not she can easily be leveled.



I've decided to use Ross/Nessie this time around to see what they're like.

Colm's pretty solid at fighting, but note that he gets to keep his thieving abilities. Last time around, he was good enough to keep for the whole game. We'll see what happens this time.
