Would Heroes and Paladins count? Main axe user... would be Bartre because he's funny, although Dorcas is the manliest character in this game. Other ones... maybe Harken, Lowen, or Isadora... gotta love the paladins.
Wow, I almost forgot, but the main axe user of all... Hector, has to be almost everyone's favorite thanks to his personality, his brutish power, and just how useful he is as a Lord.

Hector by far, his FE7 version. For FE6 I'd say Lot as he just seemed better than Ward and everybody else was lacking in that department. Hector for the win for the reasons stated above as well as the reasons why I chose him as one of my top 3 FE7 and all-time favorite characters.

Oh, FE6 too? All right then... Ward for his comic role and Lot for his intelligence despite him being another bulky axe wielder. I think my favorite there may be either Echidna or Bartre... Echidna for her character and Bartre for his awesome return!

The pirate in FE6, his hair ruled. Geese, I believe. Gonzales face and stupidity always made me chuckle though.

FE7: Hector or Raven (if you get him good with axes)
i dont know aobut fire emblem 6 cause i still have to beat it, but so far (only made it to the chapter witht he gate, and teh villiage with the preist who hits on the ladies and the scary faced person) (i was usin NO$GBA which sucks) so so far iw ould have to say from there would be Lot or Ward

^^Why Treck when he can't even use axes until he promotes and he starts off with a low weapon level and it's not even considered one of his primary weapons?

Well, don't know 'bout 6 since I've hardly played it, but in FE7 definitely Hector. All the other units who use mainly axes just hate me. Dart couldn't hit the ground he was standing on, and pretty much all the other units who focus on axes are the same for me. Paladins are just great units (mostly), so of course they do well. But still, Hector is possibly the best unit in FE7 (at least for me)

Because he's awesome!
Treck is definitely one of my favorites... and I make Lowen, his FE7 counterpart, main in axes because his strength is pretty low and Sain and Kent main in Lances and Swords, respectively...

The aspect of axes not hitting really seems to be more apparent in FE6. In FE7 they were much more kinder to axes and they sometimes hit... but just not at the right time

You mean HOTTEST characters
Btw Dorcas is m fav axe user, his battle sheets are cool in yellow. Unlike all the other blue fighters.

lol, you are totally right. You know what would be interesting IMO, a whole new battle sprite for the fighter, and then new colors instead of just blue/red since those are the most common colors.
