Hey guys, I need your help with something, it's something I did on Gamefaqs a few years back but I think all the posts have been deleted.

This is self explanatory, You all rate the Character of the Day on a scale 1-10, but this series will have the ratings separated in four categories: Main Game, Postgame, Characterization, and Personal.

So who do we have today? We have two huge badasses and one lesser axeman in the group. Dieck is the ex-pitfighter from Etruria (God I wish Fe:6 characters had proper characterization, his past sounds interesting) and is an all around bad-ass, could probably solo the game if he didn't have Roy dragging him down...

From Fe:7 we have Oswin, the wearer of the badass crown, he neatly beat Marcus in a straight-out punch up to win it. Oswin is dashing, brave, good with the ladies and carries Hector in his arms like the little baby that he is. Fe:7 would be nothing without him.

Finally we have Garcia, the ex-captain of Renais and just look at that handsome beard. He is a mysterious man who fathered a son with thin air itself, he is so mysterious nobody has ever seen his face from the front. A firm believer in "See Enemy, Kill Enemy", the world would be a darker place without our scraggy bearded friend

Day 8: Dieck
Main Game: 7
This was a toss up between 7 and 8. Dieck is a great Mercenary. Solid joining level, solid stats, and great constitution. Ojay will be better in the long run, but he has a host of issues, level especially, that will limit his own usability. Dieck is a simple, ready to use unit.

Characterization: 3
I'm shocked Dieck had a history. It becomes kind of interesting with Pent and Louise thrown in the mix. That aside though, he's very much Ogma in FE6 form.

Personal: 6
Dieck with defence is really, really fun. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Fe:7
Day 8: Oswin

Main Game: 8
Oswin's high level, great bases, and good growth makes him the perfect auxiliary to Hector and provides secondary tanking powers which are worth keeping all game lone. Great supports basically make it impossible for him to ignore as a unit.

Characterization: 4
His role as a gentleman and soldier makes him an interesting combination. He's a bit stoic and lacks depth in that regard, but the fact that he doesn't answer to Hector and Hector alone gives him some fun.

Personal: 4
My Oswin generally has offence that leaves much to be desired, even with a 40/30/30 spread.

Fe:8
Day 8: Garcia
Main Game: 3
Taking Dorcas and repeating him was a very bad idea. Garcia's defence and speed make him stupid vulnerable. Just watch that HP melt under attack.

Characterization: 5
It's too bad he sucks so much in terms of strategy. He's got a great duality of a legendary warrior and a peaceful man living out his own life.

Personal: Abstain
I haven't used him much.

I've soloed the game with Garcia y'see...

Self-imposed challenge though, right? Beating any game with anyone is typically possible (see: my Marcus FE6 run). Whether or not alternatives are that much easier are the question.

Yeah self-imposed. You can solo the game with most anyone usually if you keep trying

You did a solo-fe:6 run with only Marcus?


Now that I want to read about/see
