every time i hit run.bat in the extracted feditor adv rar file. my computer doesn't run it when it pops up it says a few file locations then ends in FEditor.jar says java is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. (I do have the newest version of Java.)
then it pauses and says press any key to continue. then it just closes the program... being new to this i have no clue what to do as far as this goes!
any help is appreciated! Thanks!

What OS are you running?
Try running FEditor.jar in the "dist" folder directly. If that doesn't open with Java, then all I can do is question that you actually do have Java, no offense but I don't know what else to say, it should at least open first. the run.bat will only work if you're using Windows I think, but the Java file directly should work on any OS if you have Java properly installed. XP

If running windows, reinstall Java.
If not, good luck...
