I need some and it has to be very effective, not a scam or something low-quality or that pops up and bothers the shit out of me, and free. It also has to be for Windows (Vista). Please give suggestions I need it badly. Thanks.

Use Malwarebytes!!! To get it google antivirus360 and click on the one that's on geekpolice.com !!! It's free and it worked for me biggrin.gif !!!

I had to get Malwarebytes becuase I accidently downloaded antivirus360 onto my computer sad.gif !!! When I used Malwarebytes I got antivirus360 completely removed!!!

I use Malawarebytes or whatever too, got rid of a REALLY Harmful Virus somehow, so I guess it must be good for something...

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Malwarebytes is anti-malware, not anti-virus. It seems to be pretty good at what it does though, although it hadn't helped to kill these things that were really bugging me (although it's probably not its fault).

You could try AVG Anti-Virus. I've used it for a while and it seems good.

I see then, thanks for that. I really don't know much about viruses/spyware/malware and all that it says I need anti-malware protection and it says anti-virus is a sub-section of that. :\

When I ran windows, I used Avast! antivirus. I've also heard great things about Comodo.
