Cool! I actually sort of just finished my first splice as well. What do you think of it?
I might add some swords on his back too.

Without really looking into it, I like it, red is my favorite color, so kudos on the hair. >

That's really good. You might wanna get rid of the white background if possible. Either that or do what Newbie did. And if you wanna add swords, you might want to be careful so that you don't overdo it, thus ruining your splice. I don't splice/sprite, but I've seen sprites across the land and sorta learned the tricks of the trade.

Pick a color that you know that you're not going to use in the actual splice.

The first one isn't terrible, but the head looks a bit big XD
also, try to steal colors from existing sprites until you learn a bit better what makes good colors and what doesn't XP
