Are they serious right now? ITS A GAME!! How sad of an existance to you have to be in to try to take down a video game? Apparently this isn't the first time PETA has attacked a game.
What I find a hilarious irony is that they have Pikachu holding a sign that says "I support Team Plasma!" when in fact, many people HAVE said that Team Plasma is the PETA of the pokemon world. Think about it:
Team Plasma talks a good game, but in reality they use and abuse pokemon more than Team Rocket.
PETA also talks a good game, but statisticly puts down more animals in their shelters than almost any shelter in the country. Not to mention they lack the funds to dispose of them properly so they discard the bodies where they can.
At the end of the day, they're just as hypocritical as Team Plasma.
Not to mention that at the end of the game, we all saw the end result of Team Plasma's abuse of pokemon. And PETA still thinks pokemon would support them. Guess they didn't do all their homework.
This just enormously pissed me off and I needed to rant. That and I wanna hear what the rest of you have to say about this.

I wrote something on Black and Blue the other day, actually. Have a look. Long story short, Pokémon was a bad example for their protests, as in every 'Mon game involving people, the main character defeats an organization that abuses them.

This. They're becoming increasingly fringe and need to become more vocal and more extreme to hold their public face time and what is closest to relevance for them.
That being said, I found this one alright for PETA. It was better coded than some of their other attempts and, while having the elegance a sledgehammer (no offence to sledgehammers!) and logical consistency of your average 12 year old on XBox live, it is probably as good as they can get. I found it fun until they handed you gamebreaker Snivy.
On the other hand, I love People Eating Tasty Animals. Wait. What were we talking about?

Kensai is right lol. They obviously don't run their shelters so I guess making fake games is the next best thing. Doesn't matter that they killed 95.7% of the animals in their care in 2011. The important thing is attacking games that don't exist.

I haven't played enough FF to know for myself, but if this goes anywhere near the truth, they might actually have grounds for that. Doubtless, it'd still be amusingly bad and the outbursts against it from diehards would still drown any actual support of their message, but it might be funny, at least.

Okay, lolno. IF They did, they realized now, that was a GRIEVOUS mistake, by doing that they basically held up a sign saying "HEY MY COMPANY IS STUPID COME MURDER US" And it would PROBABLY get them a shit load of people banging at their doors with guns, pitchforks and more guns.

Good point.
Quite ironic that an organization trying to discourage animal abuse/cruelty kills most of the animals in its shelters.
