Microsoft don' goofed

Two days ago my computer started randomly acting up. First it froze during start up, so I restarted. Then it worked for 20 minutes and froze again. So I restarted. This time it froze during startup again. I start in safe mode and do a system restore. Restart. Now it won't start at all. It gets to the "Starting Windows" screen, passes that, then sits at a black screen for 20 mins before resetting itself, and the cycle continued infinitely. So I use system diagnostics tools to attempt to back up my files. Froze during that. Got fed up and went straight for reformating the C drive and recovering to factory settings. It worked fine til I installed all the Windows updates. Then it went back to never starting. So I went out and got a new desktop. Installed Windows updates, AND ITS DOING THE SAME THING! I went to the Microsoft website, and lo and behold, many users face the same problem. Windows7 users experience their computers failing to start after installing "critically important updates". So Microsoft has said some of the updates inhibit certain drivers from operating, and all you can do is wipe your system and refrain from updating, or (I don't know how they expect typical users to do this) start in safe mode and pick thru the updates and remove the ones that are causing malfunctions. So now I need to restore my NEW computer (thank god I have nothing on there) and just turn off auto update until Microsoft gets their shit together.
Fortunately this is the very reason I keep a backup laptop that has all my emulators and games and art software/tablet drivers. Also my laptops vid card is good enough to double monitor (which my desktop was unable to do until I put in a ASUS vid card) so I can still pretty much operate like normal. Only problem is my laptops processor is only 2.0 GHz, whereas my desktop was 3.5, so I have to deal with that.
Thank you Microsoft for making me think my computer was dead and tricking me into buying something I didn't really need. Try releasing less screwed up updates for Windows next time.

Although I do wish for net...

On your note,
...Well siht. To think that Microsoft would goof up so much as to do that. Idiotic, yet strangely ingenious if you think about it.
1. Release update screwing over computers.
2. Force people into buying new computers.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!
