^Appeal To Reason right?
They're okay I guess, it's commercial hardcore in my view. A friend lent me some of the albums.
Listing Pink Floyd here. One of the best bands ever, and an awesome live act to boot. The Wall, Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals and The Final Cut are just some of their best works.

I kinda like the Final Cut but The Wall was a bit depressing.

I've got a couple.
Iron Maiden, classic metal right here. One of the pioneer bands of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, as well as one of the most well known, respected and well liked bands to date.
Aces High off the album Powerslave
The Pilgrim off the album A Matter of Life and Death
Megadeth, founded by ex-Metallica member Dave Mustaine and friend David Ellefson. The band has seen several different members throughout the years, but Mustaine is the only member to have remained through the course of the band's life.
Take No Prisoners off the album Rust In Peace
Washington Is Next! off the album United Abominations
Children of Bodom, fronted by guitarist and vocalist Alexi Laiho. Bodom takes on a sound that mimics the speed of Speed Metal, the sound of Power and Death, and uses harsh, Death Metal growls and screaming vocals.
Sixpounder off the album Hate Crew Deathroll
Bodom After Midnight off the album Follow The Reaper
Edguy, a German Power Metal band fronted by vocalist Tobias Sammet. Sammet is also the founder of Avantasia, a collaborative side project also known as "The Metal Opera". Edguy's quite well known for their earlier works as well as their joke tracks and general comedic performances on stage.
Speedhoven off the album Tinnitus Sanctus
Out Of Control off the the album Vain Glory Opera, featuring Blind Guardian vocalist Hansi Kursch and Stratovarius guitarist, Timo Tolkki
I'll leave it at that for now. xD

Maiden are awesome. One of two bands to actaully survuve NWOBHM. The 80s were definately the best period, but the 00s are a bit of a revival album-wise. Live, they've always been killer. Fave album is Powerslave, and then Iron Maiden.

Awesome, my favourite albums are Powerslave, then Iron Maiden, then Killers! 8D
But yeah, when Bruce left Maiden and Blaze replaced him, that was their downward spiral. But then Bruce came back and they got right back up there. Maiden is the epitome of Metal. If not for Maiden, Metal wouldn't be the same.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is...
UP THE IRONS!
\m/
Oh also, Maiden's supposed to be releasing a new album this year. 8D Let's hope it's at least on par with A Matter of Life and Death, because it was an amazing album despite Bruce's noticeably aging vocals.

We have the same 1st and 2nd favourite albums

But Killers isn't my 3rd. Number of The Beast, then Seventh Son Of a Seventh Son (Why did they call their 8th album this?).
Whatever would've happened if Harris had decided to join West Ham...

I dunno. =/
They need to get Di'Anno back though. If they split the vocals between Dickinson and Di'Anno, the result would be quite interesting. Di'Anno's got harder vocals, whereas Dickinson's got the clearer, softer voice with a larger range. I can imagine the collaboration of vocals there... too bad it won't happen. =/

Linkin Park's old stuff is amazing, Minutes To Midnight was a letdown. Although it's good, it isn't Linkin Park. =/
Coldplay's a little bland. =/

This. And Chris Martin's ever expanding ego. Really puts you off them >_>

Yea I gotta agree Linkin Park's music started to decline from that point, altough they do have a couple good new songs.

The Stooges need some attention here.
These guys were crazy, and had an awesome frontman who invented stagediving.
Best album (of the 3) for me:
Raw Power (reissue) - sounds much better than the original (which wasn't really showing off the band's power or roughness), tracks like Search and Destroy, Penetration and Raw Power are all a masterclass in rock.
Funhouse is also great (on par with Raw Power), and their debut as well (but not as much)
