Here are the rules broskis.

- All sprites must be splices ( I will allow a MINIMAL amount of custom aspects to your sprites. Just point out where it is, please.)
- You may only post your OWN work
- You may only use the posted sprites as resources. (Color is NOT restrained. ie if all the characters are say, green, your submission doesn't have to be green.)
- You can change your submission, but please edit your original post instead of making another one altogether.)

In addition, when submitting, explain where you used each character. You do not need to use all three of the portraits. The reason why I say that is because if a sprite looks outstanding whilst only using two of the portraits, you'd be forced to possibly decrease the quality of your submission because you had to throw in something that you didn't want there.

Anyways, here we go.

Do these have to be hack insertable? Like fit in the hack box?

No it doesn't say that, but it says to use the parts given with minimum custom, so I don't think you could make it be like, huge. D:

UPDATE: Here's my entry. I made it in a rush and didn't refine it but the point is to get everyone motivated or else I'm going to win and it's a sad day when I win a spriting contest.



Has no name~ Used all 3 parts (should be pretty obvious since I wasn't very creative). Pretty much no customization besides the little that is required to splice pieces together...

Sigh, that's disappointing. If you flip Eliwood's little scarf cape thing upside down it looks incredibly like a pirate hat. I guess I'll have to figure something else out.

Edit: Never mind, got my way around it, just had to shrink the hat down a decent amount. Still a first draft but here it is.



I think it's over the color limit so I'll fix that later. But the hat and little cloak thing are both from Eliwood as well as a bit of the hair. The hair is also from Kyle and Zeiss, and then the face is most from Kyle with recolored Zeiss eyes. The actual armor is Zeiss and then the collar is Eliwood (obviously). The emblem on the hat is also from Zeiss. Only customing I did was on the mouth to make it smile, and then a bit on the back of the neck.

Oh and I have some dumb questions , can we use more then 16 colours and can we use custome colours?

Ok, here's mine.
Minor custom shading on the right (our left) on Eliwood's nose and on his cape.
Eliwood's eyes, nose and cape/armour.
Forde's shoulder pads.
Zeiss's head and hair.

As he said it doesn't have to be hack insertable, it can be big or it can be 30 colors.

I didn't use eliwood at all so don't expect to see him xD
as for colors they are all fe8 (or should be fe8 only colors) save zeiss pendant/trim thingy lol
