Leviathan:
The current setting is an armed forces training camp, outside of Arbor, a large Crimean town, to the south-west of Melior. The commanding general is arguing with Simon Voyard, Duke, and leader of the Crimean rebels known as the Leviathan.
He opposes open aggression against the newly forming Crimean Dictatorship. He suggests for Guerrilla tactics, and finally convinces the Duke to agree. They send for the best of the rag-tag army of mercenaries, auxiliaries, and the Duke's own loyal soldiers, and prepare to send them to strategic depots and either capture, or destroy them.
Loyalists:
Gebal was only controlled by 25 soldiers of the Crimean Military. Their commanding officer was sleeping, warm inside, while the soldiers patrolled in the freezing night, atop the walls surrounding the town. The walls used to serve as a precaution of Gallia attacking,(Which honestly, makes no sense) but now serve to protect the town from rebels and bandits. They had no idea what was coming.

Aurek was a good man, and a loyal soldier. He was surprised when he, along with some others, were called in to the General's command center.
Excited whispers were going about the room. Aurek himself, was one of the whisperers. "I hear we might be going on a special mission!" He mumbles to the person besides him.

Seraph though there was a fly buzzing beside him but when he looked it was just his friend Aurek. "Aurek, you don't really believe those rumours do you?" Seraph said to him, "Nothing ever happens around here, we'll be put on alert to get our hopes up and then nothing will happen"

"You never know," He said optimistically. He began to go into a long-winded speech about defending Crimea from unjust rule, but was quickly interrupted by the General.

"As you all know, you've been called here for a reason. You are some of the best soldiers this army has. You are being sent on a mission to capture the town of Gebal from the filthy loyalists."

At this, Aurek could not help but nudge Seraph with his shoulder and whisper "I told you so."

"All of you, gather all of your war materials, and assemble outside of the camp at sun-up tomorrow. Be prepared." With that, the general dismissed the group.

"Haha, told you Seraph!"
