Who else watched this freaking amazing 1998 anime? It's a dark, noir inspired anime where everyone tots guns and smokes cigarettes, for those not in the know.
Amazing anime, highly recommended.

Just kidding, yeah there is a film and it's not bad.
You can't really say that because something is old it has bad animation, lots of new series these days have poor or lazyy animation as well (Lazy in the way they re-use scenes like the tree-jumping in Naruto)
I mean, Evangelion is old enough and is still amazing, sure comppared to the recent rebuilds the animation looks poor but on it's own it's still great

I wasn't, I'm saying that it is old and happens to have relatively poor animation
the animation today isn't necessarily a ton better but you can usually find it in higher resolution with slightly more better-drawn animations and better effects
also I consider an anime a TV show, just one that is Japanese

Nah a TV show is like The Simpsons, or Two and a Half Men.
^While that is true that shouldn't stop you watching old Anime, none of it is ear-grating or eye-gougingly bad
It's just not as good when compard to something released in 2008 or so.

I'm not sure if you know just how good early 2000's and late 90's Japanese animation is.
They do not recycle shots, at least I can't tell. The fights are as fluid as any fight in One Piece (and the GOOD fights in Naruto). The characters are awesome, and the story is pretty damn good. It's outstanding. The colors are dark and such, but the quality is awesome. You could say you don't like dark colors, but it fits well with the theme, and being a graphicz guy, I can tell you it fits ten times better than vibrant colors. Would Saving Private Ryan's cinematography be as good without the color saturation? I say no.

Hulu is so convenient. But it's only downside is that you either can't watch the whole season, just the last like...10 new episodes, or they don't even have it.

Just get a crap computer, wipe the hard drive and download Veoh web player, you can watch most stuff on there subbed or dubbed.
The reason you don't want to do it on a computer you use regularly is the privacy policy they have.
Which is why I've downloaded it onto my college computer profile... now if only I had headphones...

I'm sure lots do it, to save money, it's like the repeating of the same scene thing that you see a lot of in some animés
