Hello, I'm new here, after a few codebreaker codes and a few videos of Nightmare, I've decided that I wanted to learn how to basically create my own FE. So far I've played FE7 and FE8 and wouldn't mind going into more of them, but as long as they are portables, I'm a working college student, so I don't have time for console games. Which means I play them all the time.

I came from the DBZ LSW board known as DBZ Vortex. I use to do sprites there, but was never really good at it, now I have some ideas for here, and I wouldn't mind to try my hand at FE sprites, also I want to see all the cool sprites everyone else has made.

Anyways hello. The name's Joel nice to meet ya'll.

After reading around, I have found the place I want to be, here. The custom animation and sprites really caught my eye. I've been wanting to put user content in a game so badly, sadly the DBZ LSW community didn't know how to actually put our art work in game, but here I am glad to see that we can, now all I gotta know is how to do it, and get the resources I need to start, huh more read. Anyways glad to be here.

Reading is fun and all, but I'm a visual learner. I was wondering are there any video tuts out there? I mean I can read and probably do alright, but with a video I might do better, and learn a whole lot faster. Just one example and I can do the rest on my own. Basically I'm just looking for a video about adding custom content. If not, I'll just have to trial by trial on my next days off. Anyways thanks.

I dont know, if we have video tuts here, since i'm not a hacker, but it's a very good idea for better learning perhaps even i can learn this crap someday without too mutch frustration with videos<_<

Alright, thanks to Blazer's Ult. Tut. I have done some good with Nightmare at least. I got to the point where I messed up FE7's prologue, and then I fixed it with a more intense paint job, where the prologue still played out, but everyone had better status and better classes. All I'm having trouble with is utilizing the tactics I learned for FE7 and using them in FE8. I started on FE8, so I have a bigger interest in the game, what I am having trouble is switch character colors, it isn't as easy as FE7. But yeah I have gotten a good taste of hacking so far.
