Sometimes. If I'm just running through FE8 out of boredom, I'll run Ewan or Amelia through the ruins and use them. Usually, though, I won't.

Definition of Est archetype: The last pegasus knight you gain late in the game. They usually are at a low level, but have great stats and growth rates. Examples: Est, Zeiis, and Farina.

Nino and Miranda are Linda archetypes.

Definition of Linda archetype: The second mage you get after the Merric archetype. They usually join early mid to late in the game. They usually have less defense and hp than the Merric but have equal to or higher magic and skill. Examples: Lilina, Nino, and Ilyana.

I don't use Linda archetypes or Ests.

I thought Est characters were ones that joined late at a abysmally low level but with ridiculously high growths. Est just happens to be a pegasus knight. Could be wrong, but whatever, I'll answer based on what I know tongue.gif

The only times I've ever used those characters were to try them out. Meaning, I've used all Est characters once, but never again.

When did Zeiss become a pegasus knight?

I sometimes use Est Archetypes, but you get them so close to the last level, and by then you have people that are promotes and higher level then they are now, I sometimes use some though, like Nino, but even then she can be a pain to train.

Lolno. Est archetypes are units that join late and have an awesome growth. Then dont necessarily have to be peg knights.

Ignorance doesn't get you anywhere Kai.

The two units that you stated are Linda archetypes if you even bothered to read my posts. Est is a pegasus knight. There just so happen to be a pegasus knight( counting Zeiss as an Est since he's a flier and fits most of the requirements for it) that joins late with great growths and stats from FE6 to FE9 and in FE11 IIRC. Est, Zeiss, Farina, Syrene( forget if she's an Est or not), and Elincia.

The two you stated are the second mages that you earn in the game, such as Linda, Nino, it's debatable to say Lute, and Ilyana.

Trust me I know my archetypes, I used to be absolutely crazy about them.

What about Pent? He's technically a Sage, but a Mage promotes to a Sage so he's pretty much the same... anyway Nino comes after Pent, so shes the third Mage in her game, and Lute is the first Mage in hers.

Est
Est was a Pegasus Knight in FE1 that joined the player's team late in the game. Est archetype characters are usually characters that join the group late in the game at an extremely low level, and are difficult to level up due to their low bases. However, if trained, they usually turn out to be the most powerful units in the game. It can be said that they are the antithesis of the Jeigan. It should be noted that all Ests usually are quite frail, suffering in both HP and Defense. They also have lower availability rates than most other characters. After FE3, most Ests have been magic users.
Notable Ests are:
Est (FE1/2/3)
Corpul/Sharlow (FE4)
Miranda (FE5)
Sara (FE5)
Sophia (FE6)
Zeiss (FE6)
Nino (FE7)
Ewan (FE8)
Amelia (FE8)
Pelleas (FE10)

This isn't a flame war dumbass, it's a debate. First off, Wiki is shit, anyone can edit it. Archetypes are usually sharing the same class as the original character.

For example, Oguma was a mercenary. Other Ogumas like Dieck, Raven, and Gerik. Maric was a mage. Other Marics include Lugh, Erk, Lute, and Soren. Navaare was a myrmidon. Other Navaares include Rutger, Guy, Joshua, and Mia( or Zihark, you could go either way). Jeigan was a paladin. Other Jeigans include young and old Marcus, Seth, and Titania. Katuna was a pegasus knight. So were Thany, Florina, Vanessa, and Marcia. Paola was also a pegasus knight. So were Tate, Fiora, and Tana. Est was also a pegasus knight. So was Zeiss, Farina, and Elincia. And finally, Linda was a mage, the second one you earn in the game. Others are Lilina, Nino, Lute( who can be a merric in a way), Ilyana, and Pelleas.

I lol'd so ****ing hard. To think someone can be this dense.

An Est archetype is a unit that comes late with low bases but high growth. Est, the FE character is a pegasus knight
