What does the name 'Ryoku' mean/where did it come from?

Actually, I made it up when I was like 8... Believe it or not... But Originally, It was Ryokutheman which I got My Real Name From (Look)
Ryokutheman so yeah, I made up Ryoku, then Made a Pun out of it for my Username a lot of places xD

That's pretty interesting actually. My nickname around 10-11 was Christman, but my parents didn't like it.

Hmm sheer boredom has forced me to bring in my Japanese wisdom into this thread
The kanji (Letter) for Strength is read as "Chikara" in japanese But when used in combination with another letter is often read as "Ryoku" It could also be read as "force"
Eg The kanji for Pull (Hiku) in combination is "In"
Combination of the kanji's pull and strength read "Inryoku" which meansyou're inside Ryoku! Gravity.
So as coincidental as it seems to be Ryoku can be read as strength/force in japanese.
