It says it's legal and that I can download it for free. I download it, get a song off a video and import it as a mp3 file for my Halo montage. It says that since I didn't pay the full $29.95 I can only get 50% of the song, my friend said that you could get the whole song for free. I asked him what was wrong with it and he said he didn't know.
Does anyone else have the same problem or am I the only one? If you know how to fix it, please tell me.

Just get Firefox, Greasemonkey, and the download Youtube video script...
Rip the audio with Audacity and save as an .mp3 file ._.
All of those are 100% free and no hassle with freakin trial/shareware bullcrap...

Limewire music you can't imort into Windows Movie Makers, same thing with Itunes. I may try purchasing the song from Amazon tomorrow.

For Limewire, although I haven't used it recently, IIRC, you can save where the music is located, I just send it to the default music folder, then just click on the music in the folder and play it.

I use DVDVideoSoft Free Studio, it works really well and can be used for other stuff.

There's an add-on to Firefox that allows you to download it. There are also some good websites. I don't recommend installing programs though--you never know where they come from, how they work, what they really involve, and it's generally just a hassle. I don't speak from a lot of experience, but trust me, I have had enough experience to know that the less programs you install, the better. >_>

This is what I would do:
-search the song on YouTube
-when I found it I would put "kick" in front of YouTube in the URL when I on the videos page
-that brings me to kickyoutube.com on the videos page and the I would click downlad as .mp3

I agree, DVDVideoSoft works fine, or (atleast on my computer) I can use Audacity and set the preferences to "Microsoft Sound Mapper -Input" and it records whatever comes trhough my speakers. But I like Videosoft best, so yeah
