Ripping is a lot of fun because I can rip awesome DS music into MIDI format and then insert it into my GBA hacks. HECK YEAH!!!
I have a LOT of epic music in store for Tactics Universe!

OMG! Now I want Advance Wars: Dual Strike music in my Fire Emblem Advance Wars hack. XD
Seriously though, awesome news. I like seeing people make new progress in their hacking. ^.^

Inserting is much harder so I won't even try (more importantly I have a feeling the instruments will get messed up when I convert from MIDI to SSEQ [SSEQ is the NDS format]), but the fact that it is possible sure is good to know. XD
As for FE11 music, the MIDIs turned out bad because of the instruments. I could fix the songs, but it's a lot of work. I just fixed one song though and even that didn't turn out very good (if it weren't for the melody or w/e I wouldn't have recognized the song BEFORE I fixed it up a little).
Boss Battle
Here's a song from Suikoden Tierkries that sounds much better and more like how it should after being fixed, but still isn't near perfect.
Fierce Fighting with the Giants
Here's a better song that besides a couple of minor flaws is great--I would have uploaded a near-perfect one but I didn't want to spoil songs that I might use in my hacks (or share the MIDIs to let other people use them D:).
Valkyrie Profile Map Theme
(Idk which map theme it is by name, but it is epic)
Here's another epic song while I'm at it:

Again, saves will be sent.

Also, I can't assure you that the song will sound good, as shown by the posts above. At the most, I can try. I also won't do more than one game per person (I don't mind looking for a couple songs in a game though, or I can just send you all the songs and you look for it yourself).

If you could send me all the midis of every song in SRT W...
I would love you forever.
Could you?

But yeah, as I said before, it's cool to see advances in hacking (or in this case, more specifically ripping), and I'll probably keep an eye on this topic in case you post other songs to hear how they turn out. XD

In other words, you're giving me too much credit. I'd tell you guys to do it all yourselves but I have a feeling most people won't want to:
- get the appropriate game
- unpack it with DSLazy
- get the music file (SDAT format)
- run a program through CMD on it
- figure out what happened (kinda simple--the program splits data into 3 folders, sequence (songs in MIDI format), stream (idk much about this), and samples (WAVs/sounds/instruments).
But people do want to:
- enjoy ripped music in MIDI format
- have it inserted into GBA games as a hack
EDIT: Kinda busy being sick with a flu of some sort so please be patient.

VGMTrans is also on FES. I tried it but I can't get it to extract to MIDI. Also it's release is buggy and the program is quite undeveloped. I did get it to play WAVs, give me interesting information about the sound format, and although I didn't try it I'm pretty sure it can convert files to WAVs too.

- get the appropriate game (cough, don't ask)
- unpack it with DSLazy
- get the music file (SDAT format)
- run ndssndext (it is uploaded onto FES and named "NDS Sound Extractor") by dropping the SDAT file on there
- figure out what happened (kinda simple--the program splits data into 3 folders, sequence (songs in MIDI format), stream (idk much about this), and samples (WAVs/sounds/instruments).
And of course enjoy your results; hopefully they are good.
