These guys are the 2 axe fighters you get in chapter 1 in FE5. I don't quite remember what they are actually like, but I love the free overpowered axes they get, earning the name "H4x Fighters" from me.
What do you think about these two unique classed people? (They are the only ones to have that class in FE5)

I agree with Shu on the genericness, at first glance they look like enemy bosses or even grunt units, but their strength is disturbingly high.

I never even really used any ax wielders. Othin and Halvan capped most of their stats, but I never found much use for them. Mounted units like Carrion, Kain, Robert, etc...all completely rocked.

Othin is my fav one, hes very quick plus hes really dangerous with the support bonus with Tania, but Halvan is awesome too. But my fav axe user is Marty, he may need more SPD and SKL but he can finish many enemies that Othin and Halvan cant, plus he can use bow once promoted.

Othin and Halvan are great, they're the best fighters in FE pre FE9 and FE10.
Othin rocks with Pugi and Halvan is great too with a Brave Axe. Which I believe you get both in the first chapter.

I've always liked Othin better because his stats are a bit better all-around, imo. However, Halvan's Ambush + Brave axe combo is pretty awesome.
And they can use swords on promotion, too, which is pretty cool.

Othin usually always turns out better then Halva. The only thing thats keeping Halva up there is his axe which people usually trade over to Othin.
