Pending the physical, Brett Farve will sign with the Vikings and come out of retirement again.
Discuss and vote. I'll state my position after I see other views on this.

Hmm... I would have said that he would greatly help the Vikings. They are very good on defense and with Peterson, they can run the ball. They were only missing a Quarterback to become a major threat. I say at the least that they win their division and make it to the playoffs now.

Heck yeah. I'm not a huge Favre fan, but my dad is...If he does well, we're unstoppable. Our weakest point would be special teams...that was actually a problem this year.

I say to the Super Bowl, but I was gonna vote for that ANYWAYS.

No way we go 9-7 or lower. No way.

Yeah. The Vikings were pretty stacked other than for the QB position.
Their kicker is Longwell right? He's pretty good to my knowledge. Or did you mean kick returns?

No, I mean on covering punts/kick returns.

Longwell is awesome, as is Kluwe.

Eh. Brett Favre is great but keep a eye on that tear in his shoulder.

I don't see why the viking wouldn't go 10-6 or higher.

Yeah, I had forgot about that...if he gets injured, Sage Rosenfelds can cover. He looked great in the Colts game, I think.

I dont think that Brett Farve is going to be much of a threat. He just came out of retirement and everything. Its just going to be a wait and see. Hows he's going to be in a game and see if he can be what he used to be.

The reason why he wanted to be with the Vikings was due to the fact that they have a similar offensive playbook that Farve is used to from his time in Green Bay.
His shoulder may be a problem though. However, he'll be playing in a dome for all of his home games which should help.
If his shoulder starts acting up, then they can just give Peterson the ball for a few plays until the pain goes away.

AND he can stick it to the Packers twice a year.

I heard a Comedian say once that at halftime at Lambeau, they retire a Green number 4 jersey...and Brett Favre comes out in a PURPLE number 4 jersey.

Ah revenge. Gotta love vengence.

I wish the Browns could destroy the Steelers for once. <.<

I'd root for them. I'm not too big a fan of the Steelers.

Come to think of it, we play the Steelers and Ravens Back-to-back this year.

Guess what team I'll be rooting for those weeks.

The Browns aren't too bad. We're better than Cincy and Detroit.
Oh speaking of the Lions, the Vikes should have two automatic instant wins.

Yeah, I suppose. I don't want the Lions to lose every game though (Except to us), I feel a little bad for them. They can have 4 wins, two on the Packers, and two on the Bears...and maybe one on the Colts, if they play them...

I can see why you dislike the Bears and the Packers but why the Colts?
They beat the Bears in the Super Bowl a few years back. Back when Rex Grossman was good.

Meh, I'm not a huge fan of Peyton Manning. And my cousin who lives in Indianapolis...well, it seems like his mindset is "As long as we have Peyton Manning, we'll ALWAYS be good"

No impact: They were already a playoff team due to their division. With the rip in his rotatior cuff (somethin like that), he might be as good as he was the last month of last season, or worse. Though him being there could affect team morale for the better

True but they lost Dungy. He was an awesome Coach. So I don't think that the Colts are going to be uber this year. They'll make the playoffs probably since the Jags and Huston are kinda bad. I dunno about the Titans.
