I've been trying to get this under 16 colors, but I'm always losing important colors. I've taken away a lot of colors already. Is there anyone who could get this 16 colors or under? I can do all the formatting myself, I just need help bringing it into insertable colors.

Wierd, must be a lot of colors...

Check skin tones because they ahve to be EXACT, not even off by 1 blue value...

Also, change the yellow as Oblivion said...

Also, changing the pad to the hair color might work...

Sorry about decieving you, Cheese, it wasn't Oblivion who did it. ...sorry too Oblivion, but I had free time. <.<'





Anyways, here. 16 colors, and with the palette you meant him to be. I kept the golden in his clothes, in fact I even strenghtened the effect, and I took the hair color away from his chest(That is why it looked so weird when they tried automatical 16 colors... He had chesthair. XD). Also, I framed it if you don't mind, just put a minimug there and it will work.


...also, small perk; If you keep the image as it is, even if there are some "rogue pixels" lost somewhere in that minimug you make, this image should force usenti to "automatically" fix them for you. Just paste it in the image and it will be fixed already. Hope I helped, and nice hacking.

I prefer the new FEditor format to the old one...lot less work...

@FElover: Nah, it is just that I formated over 20 sprites like that already, and so I am not used with the new one...


...sides, I honestly don't really trust the newer versions of FEditor, so just in case I keep on doing my frames like that, just in case something goes wrong and I need to lean on my older trust-worthy FEditor. >.<



...and the new one is easier, indeed, but this format is more strict, so you can't make any mistake at all. So yeah, I might stick with this one for a while still.

I use the oldest newest FEditor, if that makes any sense, though I still have the back up one just in case XD

Sides, they are both strict, just one is easier to redo and test (because I suck at positioning mouth frames xD)

And well, in my case I use grids, so the positioning comes in naturaly, so both take roughly the same anyways. XD Do you also use gridding FElover? If not, you should. *Willing to teach if you are interested*

Well, technically I still do that. XP I only use the modules to open them in the notepad, and get the hex address of stuff. >.<



...yeah, let's just say that hacking improved a lot in time. Now it is so straight forward somethings simply feel too easy to do now. XD
