Character Name: Dume Mandragoran

Looks: Tall, thin, dark, long dreadlocks down to his waist. Dresses casually, and always has a pair of swords on him.

Short Bio: Dume was created at TU for use in FE rp's. He's a mercenary who has great faith in his swordplay, and he loves to make use of it.

Deserts, a situation that is unforgiving in the realms of thirst, sun protection, and morale. Normally this situation would be hard enough. But reports of cannibals eating family members have surfaced, and many people have gone missing. Amoung them, are Dume Mandragoran and Creed Diskenth.

When you two wake up, you realize you are both stuck in a wide open desert, full of almost red sand. The weather is sunny, and around 95 degrees right now.

Towards your front, you see what seems to be a lake in the distance.

Towards the back, you see what seems to be huminoid figures in the distance.

Towards the sides, there is nothing but sand and dunes.

((You each get 1 post, then I update, etc. etc.))

Dume gave the man he was with a look. He was still a bit confused about what was going on, but he knew it was important to keep hydrated in the desert. "I say we head toward the lake and fill up, then maybe go see those people and see if they know where these 'cannibals' are. I'd like to give a taste of iron..." He said, fingering his sword hilt.

Creed lifted himself off the ground, his body felt like it was on fire due to all the heat. except his head.

<Good old Straw Hat> He thought.

He heard someone talking and turned around. The man said something about a lake.

"No, In the desert it's probably just a mirage"

((Keep going, I am revising how posts work. You guys post until you go somewhere/do something/waste enough time so that I can update your status, and the situation))

Dume looked at the lake again, trying to think if he was really hot enough to be hallucinating already. He certainty didn't feel that hot... "I don't think so... Besides, we need to find some Water, or we'll die of thirst, or else just get too exhausted to move."

"Fine" Said Creed grudgingly.

"We walk"

He stood up and started to walk towards the "Lake". Hoping that it would be a real lake.
He then remembered the reports of cannibals in the area. He wondered if he should tell this "Other person" but decided against it.

"Say, whats your name?" he asked

Dume began to walk. "Name's Dume." He told the other man. "You?"

((Also, look at my post like, 4 one's up. I already mentioned the cannibals lol.))

"I'm Creed" He said.

They walked like what seemed for hours till finally...

As you two walk towards the lake, the truth becomes ever so clearer. While the lake wasn't a mirage, it certainly wasn't a lake. As you to reach the "lake" you find it to be mearly a small pool of water, maybe enough to fill 2 water bottles if that. It looks clean enough, and is crystal clear. To all sides you see nothing, except backwards, where you still see the faint outlines of huminoid figures.

Dume frowned at the 'lake'. "Well... it's better than nothing." He bent down and filled up a canteen with about half the water. "I dunno about you, but I'm savin' this for later. I'm not that thirsty right now anyways. Where to next?"

Creed followed Dumes lead and filled up his water pouch.

"I suggest we try to find a way out of this desert." Creed said.

"Unless you have a different idea?"

[Hughes]

Dume made a face, thinking. "Well... that would be nice... but for all we know we could be in the dead center, or any of the ways we go could be the farthest way out or it could be just impossible to get out on foot altogether...." He shook his head. "Too many maybes for me. I say we go try and talk to those people, maybe find a village in the desert we can get to."

"Fine" said Creed disdainfully, "we'll go toward those people then"
