Character History:
Kethe leads an average nerd's life in the average town of Fulix. He has always had an obsession with survival, and reads many books on it, and keeps survival equipment at all times. He is also fairly obsessed with ranged things, like bows (guns if time period fits). Recently, he won a cruise trip from a box of Epic-O's and has packed as such. He was allowed to take someone with him, but since he has no friends, that was kinda hard.

The difficulty of your mission has been rolled at 6. ZOMG! This is gonna be REALLY REALLY REALLY hard, but you'll get the most bonuses for mission 2.

You awake to a slow rolling pitch, that you think must be the cruise ship over water. but then you remember that you hadn't left for the trip yet, and the boat was actually a small rowing boat, not the luxury designer you had originally seen in the phamplet.

Your only companion is a vary tan, very bald man with a great white beard. And he wore not a stitch of clothing. He seemed not to mind however; he was sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, almost as if he were meditating. Without opening his eye, he said "Take a deep breath." In a very asian-indian accent. "You'll need this moment of peace."

Kethe mumbled a bit, not yet realizing his situation, and then said, "What's to come exactly? Since I need a moment of peace?", before taking a deep breath.

Kethe then almost stood up, but then realized what he was on and asked ina hasty tone, "Where am I? Who are you?".

"Shhhhh..." The man told him. If I were to tell you what was to come, you'd only worry, and the peace would be ruined. And I don't see why I need to tell you where we are, that much should be obvious enough. As for who I am..." He opened an eye and looked at Kethe. "Yeah, I thought so." He closed his eye again. "Take your clothes off."

Kethe, thinking this was some sort of kidnapping, applied logic to the situation. Complying meant he lived long enough to fight back, considering all his survival stuff was in his clothes. He took off his clothes as instructed, and layed them on his lap, with his hands grabbing the survival knife, just in case things got even wierder.

"Now, could you tell me where I am?" Kethe asked, rather patiently for someone in this situation.

[Hughes]

The man didn't answer. He let out a 'huuummm', then said, "Kethe is a VERY unattractive name, you know that right?" He opened an eye again, then closed it. "Good. Now that your ready, let's get started." He raised his arm, touched your forehead, and you immediately black out.

A few moments later, you find yourself standing in what appears to be a warzone. You're still wearing no clothes, and the ones you were wearing are no where to be seen. A man pulls on you sharply to get down, and a instant later a rocket whizzes by where you were only an instant ago. "Come on Private!!" The man yells at you, to be heard over the noise. "Wheres your gun?! Is that all you have?!" He yells, gesturing at the knife in your hand. "That'll have to work. Go find a gun and get to work! We don't have any extra, you'll have to get in there and take one of there's."

Kethe dazed around the battlefield, wondering where or when he was. He took a stealthy/defense approach to it, and asked around to what was happening, and to be informed of the enemy, numbers, or anythign that could help him not get shot.

Most of the soldiers were too busy shooting to talk at all, but a few managed to get a few words out. They were outnumbered and surrounded, and staying alive was all anyone could think about right now.

After looking around you can see you little encampment is in a circle so all sides are being defended. The enemy is held up in a number of buildings surrounding the circle, and there's about 200 yards of open space in-between.

Kethe stuck to the inside of the circle, looking for an allied soldier's corpse for a gun, ammo, grenade, anything that would help him. Kethe knew that running out there with a survival knife was suicide, and do to the bad situation, he needed a better weapon, or at least a distraction, like a flashbang.

Well the soldier was helpful enough to give you a flashbang, and his clothes if you want them.

Kethe quickly put on the clothes of the downed comarde, giving him minor protection from bullets, and also gave him more confidence.

Kethe knew his running skills were not enough to run 200 yards in the span of a minute that a flashbang would give him, it was another suicide attempt. However, Kethe formulated an idea. He tried to convince a few of the soldiers to go with the plan detailed below.

The Plan: After throwing the flashbang grenade, the group will run into a building close by that has a few soldiers in it. We shall rout them with silenced weapons or knives (resorting to regular guns if needed) and by the time eveyone gains sight and balance again from the grenade, we shall be in their territory with them none the wiser for the most part. Then we can work from there to win the battle.

A few of the soldiers listened as Kethe explained his plan, and a few nodded, but then one of them spoke up. "That flash-bang is the only one we have left, the rest of us have used ours. So we throw it and knock out one side of the force, but when we try to run across, the men from the other side 'll just soot our asses. I think it's suicide."

[Felover3]

Ralph looked at the soldier and said, "Oh, I guess that makes sense then, I thought there was at least several flashbangs left. Do we have something more powerful then, perhaps a turret or an RPG that we could use to blow up these buildings? I mean, I only have a flashbang and a knife, so anything I can do leads to suicide at this rate. "

Ralph started to wonder what he could do to not die in a situation like this, it's like someone found the worst situation, and stuck him in it.

[Hughes]

The soldier shook his head. "No... unfortunately all we have are our standard AK-47's. We have just one round for that RPG there," He said, pointing to an RPG on the ground, "But we used up the other rounds trying to blow the buildings up already. I dunno what they're made of, but it didn't-" The soldier cut off as a large hole placed itself in the center of his head, through which blood instantly began to pour. Someone shouted "Sniper!" And everyone got down.

Ralph dropped to a safe place, much like the rest of the group of soldiers. He grabbed what the soldier had on his body and waited.

((The soldier had his standard gun, and a few rounds for it. In fact, that's all any of them have.))

The soldier nearest Kethe looked at him. "Did you see the angle of that shot? That snipers got into a position where he can see right into our camp... We gotta get him, before he picks us all off one by one."

Kethe looked around in his prone position and asked, "Did anyone see the sniper? If we know where he is, we might be able to kill him before his friends rush us, or we get headshoted."

[Hughes]

The soldier looked at the fallen body a few paces from him. "Can't tell really... it almost seems like he's far above us somewhere..."

Kethe looked from his position, sicne he had to be able to see a building or two that were taller then the others. He also looked at the sky, wondering if the sniper was out there as well.
