I just finshed the first volume and this is one smart, creepy, and awesome book.

Not really, But Death Note is one of the best dubbed I have ever seen.

I watched the sub, then the dub, and am now rewatching the dub. It's the only anime I've ever watched twice.

I didn't want to bump this, but since Blazrawr bumped it I can post in it nao. I just finished the series yesterday and I've got to say it's the best thing I've read.

I should read it! Only thing i've ever seen with it is the intro thing. AND THAT IS JUST BADASSS.

The story is just so interesting. And at some parts you'll be thinking, "Wow _____ is so so smart. ____ is so srewed now." The ending is more epic then Gheb, Batta, and Glass together. The development is just so great.

The series ended not how I wanted but stuff happens. Now if they remake the story with an alternate ending I wouldn't mind as long as the good guy wins. I'll leave you to decide who the good guy is.

I watched the anime in subs and dubbed and I've been on and off reading the manga(i'm a slow reader >_>). I L-O-V-E it! (L fanboy )

Has anyone else besides me seen the Death Note movies? In case you don't know, there are 3 live-action death note movies in japan. The actors may not have looked exactly like they did in the anime/manga but they managed to pull it off. However, they did changed a lot of the story but I'd say it wasn't as bad as it sounds like. They did a GREAT job with the shinigami animation.

Also, did someone mentioned an alternative ending? Well the movie franchise has it's own kind of ending so you can probably check it out.

I have seen the three movies, and I've seen the first one in the English Dub (Hard to come by).

Pretty damn good.
