As much as I was always a fan, I don't think some certain VAs that I thought had great range (ex - Cherami Leigh, DC Douglas) would have gotten their bigger roles without such a strike.
@  kirant : (29 November 2017 - 08:05 PM) I think it's mostly because of a VA strike. A bunch have agreed to not work with major game creators (until an agreement was reached early November this year). This included some extremely prominent VAs (ex - Jennifer Hale).

(e.g. Smash 4 DLC characters; would you rather delay the game for more characters, just so that they aren't released as DLC instead?)

I'm not against DLC as a whole, I just want it to be executed well. which to me mainly means, the original game should be a full experience, and any DLC should be extras and adequately priced; if you're selling a single costume for $1, or a single new gameplay map for $3, that kinda thing, that's way overpriced IMO.

Here's a collection of some works I put out. Unfortunately a lot of material was shuffled around on different hard drives and drifted away into obscurity on internet image hosting sites, ultimately lost to time. But I do have some things left around so it is my pleasure to bestow upon you all all my junk. Please view them as if they were your own somehow and don't simply use them at your own discretion. Ask if you want permission. Also feel free to comment on how they look, criticism is always welcome.

There was a lot more as well... Custom animations lost and portrait/character ideas, etc. In fact there was a character I made a long time ago; a mage named Cliff Edge. The weird part is the mage in Fire Emblem Shadows of Valentia: Echoes is the mage Clif. Sad all that info has disappeared.

 

Anyway, I hope you enjoy what I've provided. There might be more to see later, as I have several portraits still in progress. There was also a hack project Nightmare Uprising that had been started but was never finished. You can still find the post in the Fire Emblem Modding section. With that stated the modified rom has a prologue and 3 "finished" chapters that can be played. Since it is very unlikely this will see anymore progress I'm now willing to release it here. Given I can find out a way to provide a link to it (I could use some help if anyone knows the best way).

 

With that said, I am very interested right now in making some fire emblem related... well let's just say I have some interesting ideas. perhaps if you catch me on discord we can chat about it. Until then, goodbye for now.

yoo, the portraits aren't bad, I'm not gonna lie and say they're impressive but the core splicing seems pretty solid/clean

 

and the animations I dig as I just like animations in general and this reminds me of the old comics I used to do and stuff, I obviously can't really tell what's happening but it seems like you've got some sort of scenario going on, heh

 

as for the name "Cliff", well, it's a remake of FE2, and Kliff was in FE2, so yeah... haha. you don't have to make him a mage either, so there's that too. but I find it funny that his name was "Cliff Edge", ahahaha. doesn't need any explaining why that's funny, I think. XP
