Yup. But it's way better than before!
First thing I notice is the red and yellow in the clothing... NEON COLORS=FAIL. Always copy from clothing on other FE mugs, that doesn't count as splicing if you take the colors.
Is he chewing tobacco? Cause he's got a huge lump in his mouth, my left.
Aha! He does have a neck. But it looks like its curving severely to the right right, the slight curve combined with the yellow thing makes that.
Wheres the separation between the ears and the face? Is that growing out of his temple? Should be more like on the side of his head. could use a bit more of the lightest color in there too.
Notice how the collar on the right slants out away from the body right after the shoulder? It makes it look SO bulky. Usually that just slants right in, and the hair goes over it, not the other way around.
The yellow thing (I dunno what that's called!) looks like it's just torn in the middle, which would be OK but the rest of his clothing seems all spick and spam. Moar symmetry plz!
Eyes are MUCH better, though the right still looks bigger than the left.
Left arm bends funny... not sure how to make it better on this one but it looks funny.... maybe make the whole thing slant down just a bit harder? I'm not sure ._.
Obviously the clothing isn't done, so I'm not gonna mention how the red things just floating about in space....
I think that about covers the SMASH this time...
Oh wait. Right above the ear is a bit of hair that slicks back behind the ear, and it doesn't really... end... at the face... it just kinda cuts off and becomes skin, like a cliffhanger. Try making the hairline curve more.
WAY WAY WAY better than before!! Keep going!!

The way I would see it if the arms are inward... it would be leaning on the sword hilt with the blade stuck in the ground like an "attention" position... Meh... I won't even attempt a full body until this has been thoroughly destroyed and improved...
@ Blazer: I wouldn't expect anything less...
Edit: Hughes, I TRIED to address what you said with the "cliffhanger" behind the ear... I really don't know how... Here's my attempt... I also made the "Dracula collar" less wide... I also don't know how to "end" the red thing at the left arm (the right of the picture when you look at it)
I probably also failed at separating the head from the ear... that line looks... ugly... I'll address it after i get some sleep...
Regarding the "Neon" colors... I took care of the yellow... meh... I want to keep the red because it's in the battle sprite... lol
I also "figured out" that the arm "line" doesn't connect to cut off the shoulder from the body... LOL
I have the weird feeling that I'm making it look like Syaoran from Cardcaptors and Tsubasa Chronicle...
Maybe I should use him as a reference :/

It looks much better. The only problem is are the eyes, they look odd. The mouth is real tiny. the yellow part the left(OPV) is the worst shading. It only uses two colors, and there's too much of the darker tone. The right has to little shading. Where's the hair is going down the hair shading is real messy. The nose is real small. He looks stiff. The neck shading has to much of the second color tone.There needs to be shading around the eyes. Using a reference would be useful.
I won't remove this until I get a killtacular in Halo MLG- Started December 29, 2010.

Alright his mouth is light. Put another dark pixel inbetween what you got, and it won't look like he's biting his lip because Ninian is near him ._.
There's a pillow of shading by his nose that looks odd... Maybe make it more blocky? I can't put my finger on it but it looks odd.
Red thing: just throw a cord over his shoulder so it's attached to SOMETHING.
And... Oh my god is that really it?!?! I must be losing my touch.... Blazer help!

EDIT: I just looked close up to it and wow are there a lot more shading issues than I thought. Use my version as ref. is you want.I didn't even bother with the hair.

Hmm, if I were you I wouldn't give up too soon, no. Again, splice a guideline, and use it as your model. And besides, what you did already isn't bad. ...wanna see what I mean?
...sorry I did some slight changes, but I was somewhat bored this night. XP But I hope this mugs don't appear as a "modification", but only as a guide... I hope they can help you see better where the problem could be or not. Splicing it and mixing it around with "Perfect" pieces from the mugs should help you see what parts are good or not most times.
If you really ask me, your face is already very good. Your clothes lack detailing, I guess, but that could be solved by taking pieces of other clothes and mixing them.
Didn't do that looking to steal your work, BTW, nor just randomly touch it up for you, I just wanted to do something to help... You see, I am all in favor of ambitious plans like yours.
