This place is still alive?

 

I doubt anyone really remembers me but I joined about 6 years ago and sort of been on and off in terms of activity (As in, randomly appearing, making a post or two and then disappearing again).

I'll creep around a little while and read random posts.

Then I'll probably disappear again for a few years. xD

I know dude. Seraph is busy and doesn't like us anymore (though he'll claim otherwise). I just haven't seen Grey in ages, I guess he too is busy or has at least grown out of FES a bit. And Shu never visits anymore he's a chump and even if I yell at him he still doesn't do jack (except maybe think to himself "shut up Blazer you're dumb I have better things to do than work on graphics/chat with my FES homies" loool)

 

so yeahhh it's kind of lonely and sad now since it's just like, all the veterans have become too old and busy to post, myself included...

hmm, I wouldn't even call it growing out of games, I mean plenty of adults still game and some might even get into games during adulthood... but, I guess it's more like, other priorities and things mean they have less time to game and less time to socialize with others about games, haha

 

like I know for instance Seraph and Shu still game plenty and bb games some too but I couldn't tell you what they're playing and I hardly get to play with any of them, lol. even with the new FE games and such I guess there's just too much going on to be really invested into the news/up to date with it and to discuss it all, maybe they'd rather use that 30 minutes to go play another match of some CS:GO or LoL or something dang super popular multiplayer games, stealing my friends

 

all that being said, it's still sad and likewise, I intend to keep games enough of a priority that I'm never too busy/too old to at least keep up with it on some level. aaaand I'd like to still talk to at least some of the FES members once in a while when I'm older like 30-40, even beyond that if I can... it's really sad thinking these people I've talked to and known for years might "disappear" and I won't get to talk to/hang out with them anymore. as it is I've lost contact with some (whatcha gonna do, it happens) and FES's days seem numbered and I'm a chump with almost no real friends outside of FES members, so >_>;

Its ok. I'm a chump with no friends in real life too XD

99% of my friends are online, mostly on Steam........actually I've only got one real friend on Steam XD

The rest are just kind of....there Like Canada...jk, Canada is cool

 

I honestly want to try the new FE games.

I really only got into it because of the GBA games and SSBM.

Speaking of super popular multiplayer games, maybe they could make a multiplayer FE o.o

Not competitive face-off types that already exist, but say a co-op FE?

I mean in a way I have a lot of friends it's just like, no one really knows me, I guess. some of FES kinda knows me better than most people IRL. so yeah XP

also it will have online multiplayer of various sorts, but not co-op... that'd be kinda weird but could actually be really interesting, if you had two separate armies (like blue and green) and had to fight against a super big red army or something, haha

Multiplayer FE would be extremely tiring, and that especially goes for if it would be co-op. You can find out why by simply looking at a let's play video of any FE game, muting the audio, and dealing with watching the indecision of someone else. It's why they limit your choices so much in the multiplayer modes that do exist.

that's an extremely good point IMO. FE games really are meant to be played by yourself, when you put it like that. they'd really have to figure out some way to design it to make it much more compelling and/or fast-paced, though making it faster-paced could potentially upset people... and having to multi-task to keep yourself busy while waiting for someone else could be boring or tedious or inconvenient... hmm

 

I do like the sound of playing FE with someone else, sharing tactics, having team tactics, etc., but they'd really have to change things from how it is now, because watching someone else play FE is boring, and for me, playing against someone in FE is also boring... so... playing co-op would probably also be boring unless both players could be active at the same time, at all times... *scratches head trying to think of how the heck that might work*

Eh, idk. Its just an idea I thought of xD

Though I guess I should start on the 3DS remakes of FE1 and the like.

I did play a little on the Wii but my Wii screwed up :/
