Sain has hugely higher STR than Kent, who has somewhat better SPD.
Peg knights generally aren't much in the way of combatants. The only reason they're considered good is because they have flying utility.

I must disagree. My Florina can easily hold her own against Mercs, Myrms, and Mages, and she's also a fantastic taxi for Knights, Hector, and such.

Florina's also a great candidate for both the LM Angelic Robe and Energy Ring. If she gets those, she's good. But look at others. Thany? Tate? Vanessa? Tana? Fiora?

Florina is actually quite awesome because of her early join time. She can easily grab lots of levels (because Lyn's mode enemies are loleasy) and possibly be boosted by the angelic robe and energy ring, so that makes her a solid unit. She even joins relatively early in Eli/Hector mode so even if you don't do Lyn's she's still got time to level a bit, though she won't be even near as useful.
...Sadly, she's the only peg knight I can say good things about. Fe6's were all god-awful. Even the first one you get (is it Thany? IDR) joins at a horrible time (lots of axes) and gets killed really easily. In Fe7, Fiora's just a waste of space, and Farina you have to pay 20,000 gold for. Crappy.
The Fe8 ones are... all right, I guess. And by that I mean Tana's ok. And of course Fe9-10 has the worst peg knights in the history of FE so no need to go there

FE9-10's pegasus knights are usable due to RNG and not as many axe users as there are in FE6. I was barely able to raise Thany in FE6NM and she missed half the time( mostly when attacking axe users) and I dropped her after 16X, she was just god awful.
I won't remove this until I get a killtacular in Halo MLG- Started December 29, 2010.

I try to avoid Pegasus Knights honestly.
FE6: I usually just hold out for Zeiss, seeing as he wrecks shit.
FE7: The one exception because lolheath.
FE8: I love using Cormag. Tana is pretty good because of early joining time but you can get Cormag pretty early too if you go the right route.
The console PK's are utter crap compared to say... Haar.

Marcia is great in FE9, as is Tanith. In FE10, they're useful overall, but not particularly great.

I don't know, Fiora isn't as terrible as everybody seems to be making out, she can get experience in the next map killing mages and the other peg knights
Maybe it's just shes always been amazing for me... capping 4 stats every time at 20/15 etc etc...

Tana, too, if given some love, makes a nice Wyvern (Wyrven?) Knight. I haven't experimented with Vanessa yet, but she's at least decent. Forget Syrene.
