haha he's tough. I think I spent a lot of time/multiple tries/a lot of items trying to beat him on hard on my first playthrough. IIRC one can revive the other? I forget. regardless. as cool a battle as it was... >_>'

Yeah the man has a seemingly infinite supply of omega elixirs, the girl has heavy treats, they go into overlimit literally every 20 seconds, they spam mystic artes, and what's worst is the girl has some bullshit that revives her once per battle with like 30,000 hp. So much potential wasted man, it's a shame. Xillias one of favorites though I can kinda let it slide because I'm biased lol.

I got pissed off near the end of the game with the solo fight on Milla's story and bumped down the game to easy and just steam rolled everything lol. I remember this boss making no impact on me at all.

yeahhh it's pretty bs and you can't even play it as a battle of attrition due to the reviving crap. >___>' like you said, wasted potential.

 

Xillia was solid overall, my main issues were with Elise, the small cast, the mostly lame story, and the awful graphical look (it was just way too drab for me). the actual combat was pretty solid actually, though I still prefer having actual control over when I go into overlimit.

I like solo fights quite a bit so unless it's just total bs where the enemy dps is too punishing or the enemy HP is too high for me to beat it with a reasonable amount of time/effort, I tend to just go at it until I win, lol.
