Hi! i was inserting custom sprites to FE8 but i don't know how put for example: a animation for spears and another one for axes to the lord, sorry for my bad english, thanks in advance 

 

Also, how i change the options for a promotion in FE8? again, sorry for my bad english :c

for changing promotion options you can use nightmare. "Promotion branch editor" is the module you want

For the Animations, you have to use the "Custom Battle Animation Editor" module in Nightmare, there you can pick with which weapon types to use which animations. You can also make animations for specific weapons if you want to do that, though you are limited to 4 animations max so be careful.

When you've changed the  "Custom Battle Animation Editor" then you have to take the number that's in the top bar of this picture:

In this case 0x8E60000.

 

Now it gets a little complicated so bear with me.

 

You have to open the FE8 Class editor module in notepad, go to this part:

 

And change it to this:

 

Now the FE8 Class Editor should look like this:

 

And the at part where it says "Battle Animation Pointer" 0x1F, that's where you type the number you got before (in this case it would be  0x8E60000.

Para las animaciones tienes que usar el  "Custom Battle Animation Editor" de Nightmare, ahi puedes escojer una animacion especifica para un tipo de arma. Tambien puedes  escojer una animacion para un tipo de arma especifica, como Eliwood cuando usa Durandal por ejemplo. Solo puedes hacer 4 animaciones por clase eso si, asi que ten cuidado.

Cuando hayas hecho eso tienes que recordarte del numero que cambiaste:

Que en este caso seria el 0x8E60000.

 

Ahora se pone complicado asi que pon atencion.

 

Tienes que abrir el modulo Nightmare de "FE8 Class Editor" en notepad o algun otro programa de ver texto, yo uso Notepad++. Tienes que ir a esta parte:

 

Y cambiarlo para que diga esto:

Basicamente tienes que sacar "Battle Animations.txt" y cambiar "NDHU" por "NEHU".

 

Ahora si abres el "FE8 Class Editor" se deberia ver asi:

 

Y la parte donde sale "Battle Animation Pointer", donde sale 0x1F, ahi tienes que poner el numero que cambiaste, que en este caso seria 0x8E60000.

Suerte con el haqueo de FE8 XD.

 

Ah si te ocurre algun error catastrofico con las animaciones despues de hacer esto, avisame porque es possible (y creo que probable) que me haya equivocado con el cambio que le hice al modulo de Nightmare.

About the 4 animations, is 4 weapons with the crits right?

Umm every animation comes with it's own crit, I'm guessing that's what you meant?
