Okay so I decided since I know how to do most of the basic stuff now, I can start actually working on the game I want. The problem as I found out is I have zero talent for maps and Sprites. Well you'll see in the future.

Right now I'm looking for people to help make this prologue I already did most of it but I need better graphics. Preferably custom and not just recolored.

Eh. I don't mean to put you down, but you *may* have a hard time finding people to help with these things early on. The thing is, there is no real reason to help you--I mean, like, if I'm a spriter, why should I help some random guy on the internet with his personal project, when I could go do something that'd be more fun for me? XP

Which is usually why when you start, you'll have to do most everything yourself, and try to focus on the things that you are good at, and then get people to be like "oh hey this is a cool hack, I'd like to help make it cooler by helping with sprites". Then it gives them a reason and whatnot. XP

Hopefully that makes sense... ._.

Lol no it's ok. I like how you said it politely Baha. I understand exactly what your saying, I wouldn't be wasting time on a project I didn't like either. But I'm gonna post updates in here on how far I am. Maybe il get lucky? Who knows. Thanks for the checkup though.

The breakable wall doesn't align right with the other walls. Also, I'm pretty sure that the "walls" at the top and bottom are generic pillars, which don't keep anything out. The sand/dark grass parts seem pretty good, but the bottom corners of the map are pretty plain; try adding more? Lastly, the forests in the top center go weirdly with the dark grass, you might wanna fix that. Otherwise, it's pretty good, nice first map!

Any idea on how I could fix the breakable wall issue and yeah i found out they were pillars afterwards lol. I tried to add mountains but they looked too plain. I'll try again I guess. Thanks for the help

Map Sprites as well as portraits. I just figured out how to sucessfully insert custom animations.
I'm currently working on the main characters frames. What did you think I meant when I said recruiting Spriters?

Practically, I was just wondering, if I could do some animations for you and your hack, and possibly some mugs as well, to better my skills. Do I need to do anything prior to joining the team, if I can even join the team?

Caladbold- I plan to make a fanmade game. Yes, I know its hard and I probably wont get to the point where I want to but I'm gonna try.

The_Fallen- Nope, I'm not making people who want to help me prove themselves.. atleast not yet. I'm not that good myself so I cant blame others. If you can help me just pm on here with any ideas you want/need or have yourself.

Edit: I'm having some speed issues with the attack. I'm using one of Nintenlord's animations to test it.
Clues on why he moves so fast?

For the animation:

This. See all those 3's? Those are the speeds at which each frame will execute. The higher the number, the slower. So, you can mess around with them until you are happy.

The sprite is really unporportional. I'd considr making the armor smaller. Also, the hair has random cut-offs. Fix that. The colors are way to bright and contrasted, consider taking a palette from another FE character.

Okay I ended up adding frames instead.
For the sprite I made his armor smaller and hidden.
Im not sure what you eamnt by the hair but i tried to add minor details.
and lastly, Since the otehr colors were too bright, i just used brown for most of the sprite.

It looks better. There is something wrong with the cloak covering the armor though. It seems quite un-shaded.

The neck shading... no wait all of the shading needs work, some of the color choices are kinda poor (start by stealing colors from others, THEN when you learn how to make your own color sets you can use your own colors--that's the suggested spriting method, IIRC, anyhow).

I can't really tell what color his hair is, that in itself is a problem XD try to fix up the coloring and then analyze existing sprites so you get a feel for how it should be shaded (it really is an art thing, IMO, which is why I personally suck at shading--I can hardly draw stick figures, forget shading portraits lol)
