"The Heroine" is a little series I'd like to work out to begin with, and start out. The sprites will still be 100% custom, but I'm trying to utilize the style, better now.
So far these are very rough, because I don't feel they offer anything "special" to be in a modified version of the game.
Story is being thought out, but it will remain untold until I get more progress and possibly a first release.
I will only say that these will be mini-hacks in the since that they will only be sinle chapters released, and may/ may not have correlation between the mini-hacks.

I like how you're using your own style for the sprites, as opposed to trying to imitate the original art. Only problem with this is that I would say that all sprites would have to be done by the same guy, or risk creating a discrepancy in the styles that is a personal pet peeve of mine.

you have a lot of potential. But its the actual animating that will be the test.

I appreciate your guys's comments very much. I'll see what I can do about making corrctly styled works so they all fit. It, too is one of my pet peeves.
I've done animation works before. If you'd like to see here's the link.

Unfortunately you're right though, cause these small sprites are killing me here. I need to get a good base before I waste up any time sheeting.

What Ghast said, haha. It seems you have some experience in animating though, so I guess it's just a matter of getting to it and getting better, haha
Regarding styles, try borrowing shading techniques and even borrowing colors such as skin colors, weapon colors (like the greys etc. used in steel), even the shadow color/way of making shadows in FE. I think the sprites you've shown so far are also a little thin for FE sprites, though that might just be me.

Well basically what I said in your other topic. One thing specific to here is that the archer looks a bit..... relaxed I guess? I mean I don't really know how well he could shoot like that. One last thing is that I think he's grabbing the bow too... high I guess. If he lifted it up and notched an arrow I don't think he would be able to aim very well. XD
This won't be removed until Chile wins the World Cup - Started 24/06/12
BTW, I take map requests if anyone wants to make one XD, just send me a PM and I'll most likely accept. If you wanna see some of previous work you can visit my gallery here, I'd skip to the end because I've improved alot XD.
