Tough break for my Twins again yesterday. Pavano pitched great till the eighth, and when Joe Nathan came out to protect a 2-0 lead, he gave up two runs. We came back and got another in the top of the tenth, but then Matt Capps gave up a 2 run walk off that just barely made the distance. Damn. Well, Blackburn pitches tonight, game starts in like 20 minutes. Blackburn's been doing pretty well this year.

THE RED SOX WON AGAIN HOLY CRAP we're 3-10 now! yay...

And boo @ Damon. Ever since he crossed over to the dark side just for more money I've hated him.

I know, right? Damon hurt his finger or whatever today so he couldn't rally his rays to another win. We beat them 4-2. Avoiding the sweep! yay!

I know, this season is crazy.

Speaking of crazy, Dice-K hasn't let up any runs yet. He usually lets up about...5 or 6 by now. Maybe he'll actually win for once.

J.J. is pitching tonight.

I'm not going to expect no-hit baseball, but it would sure be nice. I'm hoping for at least 7-8 innings because the bullpen has been used a lot lately.

Twins got a win yesterday, and today the play the Indians, who are doing fairly well so far this year. Let's see if we can keep up the domination.

Anibal Sanchez took a no-hitter into the 9th, JJ took a no-hitter into the 8th, then took a no-hitter into the 6th the next start.

The Marlins pitching is RIDICULOUS this year. biggrin.gif

So the Red Sox have one 6 of their last 7 (or 5 of their last 6, can't remember) including a 4 game sweep on the Angels this week.

FINALLY things are coming around.

@ Ledah the Marlins are doing extremely well this year. they'd be in first easily if it weren;t for the Phillies. (15-6? Dang.)

Every year the Marlins do better than projected and get eliminated from the wild card late in the season it seams.

The A's pitching is freakin nails again. leading the league in ERA and 2nd in WHIP. the team only 500 cuz the O sucks, again

I'm not so sure about last year. Last year, they were more or less mediocre, and probably was projected to win 85-86 games instead of just 80.

YES! Liriano got a no hitter tonight against the White Sox.

It's been a long time since the Twins got one of those. What a way to snap a losing streak.

Wow.

Liriano got a no-hitter, and Verlander got his 2nd no-hitter.

Looks like this season picked up where the Year of the Pitcher left off.
