@  xcrash1998 : (21 September 2018 - 05:46 PM) I like games that actually reward you for reaching more difficult objectives.
A good example would be the golden ballon in Super Mario Oddisey it more like a trophy and less like an in game side note of what you did.
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:13 AM) but like yeah I get more trophies/achievements in games that I just happened to play more bcuz the game itself was fun or w/e and it's like oh ok i also will get these things just through doing the stuff i wanted to do anyway, that's cool i guess lol
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:08 AM) like they don't rly hurt but they aren't something of particular value, it's kinda like a fancy alert with a title that tells u u did a thing, it's not bad but im not rly one to go out of my way to obtain the validation of a video game through something that can usually just be done via spending enough time/effort on it

(getting to like the top X% of a competitive multiplayer game or smth would be a diff story, but in that case i wouldn't even want an achievement, i feel like just getting there should feel rewarding in itself, so... yeah, lol)
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:07 AM) yeah I'm not a trophy/achievement guy lol
@  acceptance : (13 September 2018 - 10:35 PM) That's just not incentive enough for me, man.
@  acceptance : (13 September 2018 - 10:34 PM) Plus with modern gaming a lot of the time the most you can hope for if you get all the collectibles is a trophy/achievement. Which I suppose is valuable to some people, but it's not gonna add anything to the game whatsoever.
@  Fire Blazer : (12 September 2018 - 05:58 PM) like yeah sidequests with an actual crafted scenario to them, post-game dungeons that aren't TOO much grinding/rehashed content, etc. are cool
@  Fire Blazer : (12 September 2018 - 05:57 PM) yeah I only like completionist stuff if it's like meaningful content/not super grindy but usually at some point it becomes kind of annoying so meh
@  acceptance : (11 September 2018 - 01:01 AM) Gotta love unforgivingly difficult super bosses. (Looking at you, Lingering Will.)
@  acceptance : (11 September 2018 - 01:00 AM) I cannot do the whole collectible thing. It always feel so tedious. Sidequests and EX dungeons are always fun though.
@  xcrash1998 : (09 September 2018 - 06:56 AM) So thats perfect for me
@  xcrash1998 : (09 September 2018 - 06:55 AM) I am rather obsessed with completing on 100% unless it is completely unreasonable to do so
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:51 AM) if they ever make a sequel/spiritual successor or the like at the very least it should have my attention, haha
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:50 AM) so yeah, great, great game overall, I even bought the expansion and played the heck out of that too because it was so much fun. Think I ended up almost 100%ing it (basically fully explored the map IIRC, not sure I did everything but at the very least I should have gotten pretty close).

and I'm not really a completionist either, so again... just speaks volumes about how fun the game was IMO.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:48 AM) Awesome gameplay, sweet enemies, an overall interesting premise and plot along with some solid writing, even the soundtrack was decent for a Western game, lol... but of course, the VISUALS. whew. the game looks soooo good. couldn't help but take pictures even though I don't usually consider myself that kinda guy, lol. the environments and hyper-realistic look are just so visually appealing I was often kinda mesmerized, similar to how I felt with Xenoblade X.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:46 AM) I'm surprised to have finally found some other people who have played and liked that game though. I was excited for Horizon: Zero Dawn and got it at launch and ended up basically binging it, IIRC even putting P5 on hold for a bit, because it was just so much fun.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:46 AM) ouch @ potential april fools lol
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:34 AM) Still an excellent game. One of the more interesting stories I've come across in a game, especially an open-world one, and some pretty solid characters and worldbuilding. The gameplay is fun and works really, really well in the setting, too.
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:31 AM) Although that article is from April 1st and my google searches are not revealing any other evidence of a PC release...
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:29 AM) Ah yes! I just played that game this past summer with my friends (who have a PS4) and it really was great! I'm really glad it's coming to PC so I can have it myself, and also because I've got some PS-less friends who would really enjoy it.

Well hello, Fire Emblem Fans! My name is Morgan, and to commemorate this momentous occasion of this website being blessed with my presence (jk), I am going to answer 25 Questions that are supposed to "Draw me out." Shall we?

1. What is your best childhood memory?

Good god, that is hard. I would probably say walking home with my dad from school, particularly in the winter. However, nowadays, my dad and I aren't that great, so maybe meeting my Girlfriend in like sixth grade? We are like the lesbian Bonnie and Clyde.

2. IfClydehad a chance for a “do-over” in life, what would you do differently?

Shit, this one is gonna be a tear jerker. Not moving to Florida. God that fucked me up. All I have to say on the subject.

3. How did the two of you meet?

I assume this question is referring to two people in a relationship? Well, we met because of a mutual friend, me and my girlfriend Lonnie. We met and it was like an instant friendship. And then, BOOM. One day she confessed, thought I was straight, told her I was interested in an asexual relationship, and now, we are a thing.

4. What do you feel most proud of?

My musical abilities and writing. I like to sing, write poems, books, scripts, all sorts of things.

5. What is your favorite music?

I LOVE singer-songwriter music like Billie Marten.

6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

Amsterdam. Why? Because no one ever hears of terrorist attacks or shootings in Amsterdam. Please do not ruin that for me.

7. If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be?

My Giant Stuffed Bear that I had for, wow god knows how long, my laptop, my phone, my bed, because of chronic fatigue, and my jacket. It is so damn comfy.

8. What teacher in school made the most impact on you and why?

My Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Long. She was a sweety, and she was the reason I went to Kindergarten, and she got me into learning.

9. What do you want your tombstone to say?

Make me good, but not yet.

10. What was one of your most defining moments in life?

My coming out, honestly.

11. Why did you choose that profession?

I'm a student, so...

12. How do you spend your free time?

Modding Fire Emblem, playing Fire Emblem, and plain old having fun.

13. If you won the lottery, what would you do?

I'm too afraid to answer that question. I cannot even imagine how greedy and selfish I would be.

14. Who do you most admire in life?

This is a great question to learn more about the kind of person someone wants to emulate. We admire people whose actions and character reflect what we want in ourselves. This will tell you a lot about the true character of a person.

15. What are your top three favorite books and why?

Lord of The Rings. The entire trilogy. It has influenced me so much, and it has made me the person I am.

16. What are you most afraid of?

This is a very probing and enlightening question. Everyone has fears, and our fears reveal our vulnerabilities and pain. When someone shares this with you, you must respond with care, kindness, and trustworthiness. You must treat their fears with dignity so they feel safe connecting with you on this more intimate level.

17. What feels like love to you?

Sitting down next to each other and just feeling happy. No words, no kisses, no nothing. Just being silent and being happy.

18. What is your strongest personal quality?

Empathy and Sympathy.

19. What was your most embarrassing moment?

All of the times I cried in front of my school. Good god, I was a whiner.

20. If you were president, what is the first thing you would do?

MAKE GAY SHIT LEGAL. BECAUSE *blah blah blah political crap yatta yatta yatta*

21. What age do you feel right now and why?

13, going on 50.

22. If you could witness any event of the past, present, or future, what would it be?

Ummm, god I don't know. Next!

23. What is a skill you'd like to learn and why?

Piano. PIANO PIANO PIANO.

24. What does a perfect day look like to you?

A hike with my friends, a gaming session, and slice of cheesecake while watching a series of stupid YouTube videos with my girl.

25. How would your friends describe you?

I am not my friends, therefore, fuck if I know.

Really went all out with the intro, huh? Welcome to the shrine.
Dave Grohl is rock and roll personified.

Actually a real smart genius man, but I'll never show it.

Welcome welcome, always nice to see a lively face pop in ^_^(not to brag too much, but I think we're a pretty cool bunch here =p)

I think that may be the most in depth intro post I've seen on any forum haha. Hope that means you're interested in sticking around? Either way it's great to have fresh faces anyway. Hope you enjoy your stay in our cozy little slice of insanity.
